I like assassins.

Most importantly I like how underhandedly versatile Critical Strikes makes the Assassin. Over the years, I've created and stumbled upon many builds that utilize many different weapons to create effective builds. Sins with Spears, Bows, even Wands and staves creating impressively decent damage.

I've even seen sin builds focused on casting, support, or even a bit of healing!

Obviously meta builds will be meta builds, and we all know what is most effective on a sin, but what about those builds that are just plain fun to throw in for some flavor? Sins may be wicked powerhouses, but it's there ability to even take on caster, support roles, as well as other styles of damage to keep things interesting (because if paragons taught us anything, effectiveness is second to versatility)

To start...

I called this build Staff Infection, because puns are awesome

-Conjure Flame
-Way of the Master
-Critical Eye
-Deadly Haste
-Critical Agility
-Mark of Rodgort
-Seeping Wound
-Glyph of Lesser Energy.

A small twist on traditional JS>FF>DB combo

-Critical Agility
-Critical Defenses
-Critical Eye
-Jagged Strike
-Fox Fangs
-Death Blossum
-Signet of Mystic Speed
-Ebon Escape

Played with a balanced team, and taking the risk of going /D and losing SY!, SoMS makes CA/CD instant cast, so you can focus even more on attack. Ebon Escape is an underrated PvE skill that is a shadow step, self heal, target heal all in one, and allows you to zip from your frontline to your backline to take out those trying to take out your casters, zip back if you're taking too much damage, or zip back to the front line. Active defense through a flurry of blades.

Unique Builds ?
after 6 yrs of gw and possibly over 3 yrs since eotn - there is no such thing as an unique build as the chances are someones already done that build.
Example would have been just after the sf changes ages ago - quite a few of us actually thought of an identical build to each other - i think it was a/me and me/a.We were unknown to each others so there was no way we could have chatted and came across idea together - this is just to show that nothing is unique and somewhere someone has already done that , read the book , got the tshirt and posted on guru or gwpvx.

Everyone loves a 55 monk right? I also loved the assassin so I made a 105HP in AB ^^ you can imagine all the comments I got about that 3 years ago

I find myself opening up targets for others to take down in PvE if they are bosses. But if not I can usually kill most targets quickly. The only draw back is the expensive gear required to make Energy/Multiple roll Dagger types to sustain requirments for smooth play.

Critical Defenses
Deaths charge
Way of The Assasin
"Find Thier Weakness"
Unsuspecting Strike
Desperate Strike (Vampiric weapon on/off toggle)
Fox Fangs
Death Blossom

I find this set most fun for me in a group with a Suitable Monk and or Aggro holding warrior. now if only I could get more than just 1 sec out of burn capabilities of sub paragon skillsets.. All I ask is 2-3 seconds of burn with a shout or chant for next attack stacker with "FTWeakness"
