Pondering a Purchase

I have Prophecies(love the storyline) and Factions(love the assassins). However, I only have a bit of spare cash on me, and I'm looking at the Nightfall and Eye of the North game codes being sold in ebay right now. Which one would you guys recommend that I buy first?
None of the 'buy both' replies for the time being. As I said, I have only 'spare cash', enough to buy one or the other, but not both.
Also, for those who have done this, how legit are these sellers in ebay? Secondly, some of these appear to be german sellers, but will buying a key from them still result in an English version of the expansion(would be annoying if my Prophecies and Factions characters had english subtitles, but EoTN/Nightfall would have german)?
ADDENDUM: Also, if discussions of this kind are illegal - specifically the ones about ebay - do let me know, so I can edit/delete them.

As far as im aware ( from older posts on guru ) where you get the game from doesnt matter as what matters in a way is where you set the account as.
Eg - If you set it as chinese at start you will have chinese text - im sure this has been asked in the past.
The game client is same for every person regardless of their country - only the language is different as its coded in as multi lingual
As for buying keys - id say its risky as hell , you have no way to gaurentee the code hasnt been used untill you paid for it and tried it.And then what - a bad code and loss of cash.
Personally id rather buy the missing parts from the online shop - at least you know 100% the codes ok and any problems you have gw support helping.

I'd just buy from the site, or if you can find a hard copy at a store. You know it's going to be legit that way.
Better safe than sorry.

For you, it's defintely EotN.
But when you get more money, buy NF too.
If I had money for only 2 campaigns or expansions it would be NF+EotN.
However, GW without any of those isn't GW. All 4 stories are neccessary to fully enjoy it.
(In my opinion, Prophecies is poor and boring, Factions is much better, NF is excelent, but EotN is the best. If you love prophecies, you'll adore NF and EotN.)
Edit: DW about the language, code only unlocks the campaign. All language settings are IG, so you can buy it in any country.

Protip:
Anyone who knows CD-key can use that to claim ownership of your account by talking to support and showing them cd-key - supposedly something that only legitimate owner of account should know. They will know other details they need (real name, address...) from your payment info and of course know cd-keys,
It is fairly common to sell cheap codes, wait few months and then "harvest" accounts.

@zwei2stein: Wow, didn't know that.

With reference to the above, I wouldn't buy keys from ebay, etc, unless you can be guaranteed that it's a new, un-opened package. It can lead to problems, including "used" keys, fake keys, harvesting, etc.
I'd recommend EotN of the two choices. That way you get Heroes, dungeons, PvE skills, and the Hall of Monuments.

EOTN is cheaper and easier to find (~6-12 USD). Also, it has Cure Hex, Patient Spirit, Seed of Life (which are monk staples) ; Way of the Master (for assassins).
Nightfall has a ton of Ele staples and Dervish/Paragon skills. It also has Critical Agility for Assassins (very useful in PvE) , Hidden Caltrops (staple in PvP in the past), Way of the Assassin (elite used often by assassins back when A/D were popular).
The problem with Nightfall is you are pretty much relegated to buying the Trilogy edition (usually 20-30USD), since Nightfall is rather old now.
The advantage with Nightfall is you can get Legendary Vanquisher/Legendary Skill Hunter / Legendary Cartographer , a Dervish character, Seed of Life , + Razah. Razah is the only hero you can swap to any profession.
Heroes: Besides Razah, without Nightfall you lose out on 2 Necros, 2 Monks, + a Mesmer. The Paragon, 2 Dervishes, ,2 rangers, 2 Eles, 2 warriors, assassin also (but they're less important).

Eye of the North will "power up" your characters more and has more "end-game content" in the vein of dungeons. It has tons of PvE only skills that are way powerful, it has the Hall of Monuments (could be useful if you're planning on playing GW2), and it has heroes just like Nightfall.
Plus, if it's cheaper, it's even more win.

Four years ago, I've bought Faction and Nightfall from amazon.com as new. Don't buy as used.
All the 4 games are great as one complete game. I would save your money to get both, or save to get Nightfall first since the price is much higher than EoTN.

I bought guildwars and all its expansions through steam. I find it's a good place to find deals every now and then. For example, when I bought EOTN, it was 30% off.
As for which one you should buy, I recommend EOTN. You'd be able to record your achievements towards gw2 (if you're planning on getting it), and I find it's a great continuation of Prophecies.
Have fun with whichever one you purchase anyway! =]

On Amazon the trilogy actually costs 7 dollars less than Nightfall. Go figure.

I would absolutely say NF because you will love having heroes and EoTN's Heroes are very limiting when compared to NF's, but I must say, the prices on EoTN and NF are so cheap these days, I'd get both, if memory serves each one is only 10 bucks a pop from the online NCSoft store.
Teh Diablo
@ the egg the trilogy costs nearly $30 with free shipping and EoTN costs $5.99 with free shipping. You can't go wrong with those kind of deals.
