Ghostly Staff

Does this drop as prot insc? I've had a few ppl tell me no. However I thought that the Zaishen Chest and the ones late in the NF campain drop them. Can the Ghostly Staff drop though with a prot req?

Going off what I have just read on wiki I would have to say no.

It states:
Uninscribable. All spellcasting profession attributes except for Healing Prayers, Protection Prayers, Soul Reaping and Fast Casting have been observed.
Inscribable. Primary caster attributes except for Mesmer, where they are linked to Inspiration Magic.

I have gotten a q9 insc smite ghostly staff, so I figured they might be out there. Maybe just few and far between.

I thought I had one actually, turns out its a insc Divine Favor. Don't see why it wouldn't drop with that req if the others are dropping.

Fast response: No, there is no ghostly staff inscr. prot. magic.

Longer explanation: Inscripted you will find for monks smite and divine offering. Why? No true explanation, that´s just the way Anet made them drop. Same with some other staff types, (also non-insc), platinum, plagueborn.... For monks just smite and divine offering on the staff attribute.

Only solution is an non-insc. oldschool divine offering ghostly staff with a fixed prot. magic half-cast-bonus (fixed inscription):
But those are rare and quite expensive.
