I recently got my g/f into guild wars, she bought prophecies and factions. She wants to learn how to farm and make some gold b/c she gets tired of always having to ask me for help. The problem is she doesn't have nightfall, or eotn, so none of those skills, elite skills, or pve-only skills. obviously this rules out alot of speed clears and stuff since most of them use pve-only skills. It also rules out any small team hero builds (like a bonder hero)
My question is are there any good/decent farm spots where she could earn a little bit of money with just access to prophecies and factions? I know factions has tons of greens that used to be farmed, but nowadays most of them aren't worth anything... and outside of getting lucky in a deep/urgoz idk what she could do, other than maybe fa/jq to get z-keys kind of easily and sell them... but that's not really a great farm either.
her toons are:
sin
ranger
ele
necro
warrior
monk (pvp)
i checked through a lot of the pages, youtube etc, since pve-only skills, and NF/eotn have been out for a long time, i haven't seen another page like this, so sorry if there's another thread like this but i didn't see it.
ps: no sarcastic/trolling replies like "she should just get nf + eotn..." neither one of us has the money atm to do so.
Farming with only proph and factions? possible?

Yeah, Balth faction -> Zkeys is probably your best bet. I can't think of any meaningful farming spots in Prophecies... Factions has feather farming which is pretty easy (and preferable if you have no interest in/suck at PvP) and can be done with heaps of professions (you should be able to find builds; they're pretty flexible so they can be adapted if necessary). Between those two you should easily produce enough income to cover basic armor + skill costs.
Shen Al Cahar
Granite farming in Old Ascalon (leave from Sardelac Sanitarium). Stacks sell for quite a lot of money. This is the build I use (tweaked version of the pvx one and a million times faster) and it has proph/factions only skills.
DF=11+3
Prot= 11+3
Smiting= 11+1+3
rest in healing (also have a sup healing rune, and one duplicate sup run for the additional -75 health so you get 105 health in total (radiant runes on every piece)
Blessed Aura
Balthazar's Spirit
Watchful Spirit (maintain bonds, duh)
Protective Spirit
Shield Of Absorbtion (maintain it, imorportant)
Shield Of Judgement
Arcane Echo (for shield, use the echoed one once the recharge of the first one reaches the righthand bottom corner, this ensures perma upkeep)
Ether Nightmare (the tweak, makes shit die a LOT faster). This is a pve skill, but a factions one, so your gf shouldn't have a problem getting it.
To kill: maintain all ur enchants, aggro some groups (bodyblock them with a wall to your right, their left). The moment after you refreshed your soa, cast ether nightmare, arcane echo and shield of judgement. See above for when you have to cast your echoed judgement. Rinse and repeat.
Mind the cast time on ether nightmare though. Dont cast it when soa is about to run out.
You can also feather farm in prophecies (the tengu in North Kryta Province) with a lot of professions. I use a SoS rit.
There are more spots to farm with an 55/105 monk. I suggest you have a look on the pvx page
Hope this helps.
Edit/ Oops. Just realized soa is a nightfall skill . Use the 55 monk variant then (get the -50hp cesta and run healing breeze instead of soa). Rest stays the same.

thanks guys. ya i thought about sos rit but she thinks the female rit's armor's are ugly...sigh, lol. maybe she can do some stuff as a n/rt ^^
her monk is pvp but maybe she'll re-make it into pve, or just farm zkeys
anyone else?

Frostie Arrows
Farm dust outside of TOA. You can use the ranger or ele with ritualist secondary. Signet of spirits build of some sorts. It can be done in NM and dust sells fast. Check on youtube for the exact farm
akelarumi
primairy rit should only be needed in UW, doing some of the other farms suggested (feathers or dust) can be done by an e/rt or n/rt almost as good as rt/any, what n and e lack in quality of the spirits they make up for on energy management (yes your spirits are weaker, but you have the energy to put them back up again faster).
On the other hand, your farming character doesn't have to be your main "good looking" title character, so there is no harm in creating a second char with primairy elite, with some help you can get to kaineng center and onwards in bout 4 hours (including getting to lvl 20). Next do some zmissions/bounty's for golden zcoins for an elite rit tome to aquire SoS and buy the other skills and runes needed.
Cause it is your girlfriend You might be interested in the UW duo-farm: http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:Team_-_2_Man_Spirit_Farmer
