This is a very simple mod that turns the ad in the character select screen transparent. I'll update this mod whenever the ad changes, provided I am able. As far as I know, the text can't be blocked. Screenshots of my character select screen are below.

New version, even simpler. Don't run previous versions if you downloaded them already. Turns out I can't nuke the button without removing other parts of the interface.

I don't really see the point unless you can remove the text as well, but ok not to mention I never spend more than 5 seconds in the character selection screen.

I admire your intellect at this but like others have said, I too hardly notice this ad. I am too busy finding my character on the bottom half of the screen to notice
