Is farming with gw multilaunch bannable?

i've checked the forums, seen several posts about gwx2, ksmod, and multi-launch, and about how its in a grey area like texmod, neither unsafe and bannable, nor officially approved, and usually people say something like "if u use it to trade items between 2 accounts its fine, but if u try to fix a pvp game its bannable" etc.

my question is if its ok to run multi-launch

i can see why some people might scream unfair advantage thus bannable b/c with 2 people you get a higher drop rate i believe, and if you own both accounts u get all the drops ... but honestly if you own 2 copies of the game, and can setup the spirits, and farm both, why shouldn't you be allowed to? as long as you don't macro anything you should be ok. i think the only difference between doing this and running 2 accounts on 2 pc's side by side, is not owning 2 pc's.

To my knowledge, it's not bannable.

As long as you don't automate, you should be ok.

As none of us work for Anet we can only make assumptions,
but it's fairly safe to say the borderline goes by afk macroing/botting, having your computer play the game for you.

since it has the "ok to use, just dont come crying if blahblah hits the fan" kind of stamp.. i'd say it's safe to farm with, aslong as it's not automated as mentioned before

If you can use it why not farm with it right :P....

If you manually click and type skills and move around in both windows it should be fine.
If you setup stuff to automate actions in one or both game windows it might be regarded botting and you get banned if caught.

I've been doing dual Nick runs for (insert number of years since Nick started here) years, running my mute other half through many missions and farm across the wall frequently in Pre.

Swear ive said this numerous times in other posts - anet have stated in the past - texmod was ok but not supported by anet - it didnt hack/inject or alter any actual coding and any effects only showed on user end - if u stoped texmod and reloaded any changes were lost.
GWmulti i believe they said was fine as well - it only affected the system registry and didnt alter the game.You can use 2 accounts or more as long as they are not automated ( ie bots ) so like many of us - we can take 2 accounts to uw and fully control both.

I often use 2 accounts together and i even end up chatting to ppl on both - so far no bans from anet , probably coz i hold 2 chats where i doubt a bot can chat at all.

So bottom line is - we know texmod/gwmulti is permitted for now but i cant say about ksmod.

nah, i've seen lots of "other posts" just asking about if running 2 accounts is ok... usually for trading and stuff, haven't seen any about dual farming, which is why i made the thread.
