Not receiving emails for password retrieval/account creation

As the title says, my boyfriend is trying to retrieve his password from an old Guru account (Jabberwocke) and isn't receiving any email (he checked junk mail and filters before giving up). He gave up and tried to register a new account name (Jabberwocky) with a different email address and that didn't receive an email either. Any ideas?

It's a server side issue. People are either getting emails a few days after they're meant to be sent or just not at all. As such, there isn't much you can do other than try contacting an admin directly. We switched the servers over a few days ago to try and fix the issue but it hasn't (or at least there are things we still need to straighten out on it).

I was hoping that's what this thread was doing ('try contacting an admin'), should i be private messaging them instead? o.O

IIRC accounts are being approved manually which only happens when the admins literally wake up,a pm may be a good idea.

Our issues were supposed to have been resolved last week, but today we found out there was an error with how it was set up. It has since been fixed and emails should be working within the hour (or two, possibly). Until then, anyone having an issue can use the Contact Us form that's linked at the bottom of the forum index.
