Upon seeing the new WoC npc's and seeing that they are using a fan as a wand, I figure ANET could easily make a set of daggers that use the paper fan skin. Something along the lines of the Japanese war fan. I have the faintest recollection of watching Kung Fu Theater years ago on USA network, and I remember seeing these fans used as slashing weapons.

Awesome.

Also, on a side note I have a bit of trivia. Izayoi was the name of Rikimaru's sword in the Tenchu game series. Iza Yoi is the collector for the Ministry of Purity. Someone at ANET is obviously a Tenchu fan.

Well... i was disappointed when i took the fan as wand... because it attacks like a classic wand... i expected like to send the fan or so...

Idea can be cool if done well only, but /signed

Are you really sure this is a good idea...?

When you give two fans per person to bunch of people, you get something like Locomía:

It may sound good, but it doesn't look that good.

Fans as weapons work better when you use just one.

That would make me so happy if they did that <3 I love fans (I collect them), and they were definitely used as weapons historically...so why not?

I love this idea, but maybe some sexy razor sharp fans just like Kitana's from Mortal Kombat, but with a design. Just don't be lame as torment daggers or destroyers.

I like this idea more than the current trend of dual wielding swords as daggers that we have apparently gone towards. So yeah.../signed on fan 'daggers' of some variety.
