New Player: Some Questions

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself and ask a few questions if I may. I had foolishly asked some questions about Guild Wars in the Guild Wars 2 forum (the shame) my question can be found here.

Lots of my questions I had got answered thanks to the kind folk over on the GW2 forum sending me PMs. I'd still like to say hello I'm Grace and I'm going to be starting a Monk should anyone wish to join me just let me now below.

If I come across anything else I need help with I'll update this post. If your kind enough to check in on me from time to time I'd be extremely greatful.

I'd just like to make it clear I have never played video games before... Ever so my my ninja like skills are lacking some what so please don't shout at me.

Welcome to Guild Wars! if you have never played video games before this is a great place to start! GW is going on 7 years for many of us and there is still plenty to do.

GW is a learn by doing environment, but written info will help a lot along the way.

http://www.guildwiki.org/Main_Page is a wonderful resource. Pay attention to the Game basics section on the right and at least scan over the guides for first time players.

Selecting Help from the Start Menu or pressing F10 will bring you to the official wiki, which also has a massive amount of information.

As a first time player of video games, GW will start out by being your old "being stomped upon grounds" but will soon turn into your game and your "old stomping grounds." Just be patient. There is a huge amount to learn but everyone here learned the same way you will, one thing at a time.
