EotN nerfing secondary Profession?

I've got a Dervish/Necro, and I've been trying to figure out why my necro spells don't seem to be summoning worthwhile minions, I hadn't really paid attention to my attributes until a couple days ago, and I started tinkering with it.

Just for grins I can place *ALL* of my attribute points into Death magic(I'm level 16, to give you an idea of how many pts I could potentially put in there)... But it still gets moved down to 0. I feel like I must be missing something, some odd mechanic, some issue in my equipment... But I've got some pretty basic Istan and Sunspear armor on my character, a Darkblade Scythe (Guided By Fate, Damage +10%). This has been consistent since I entered EotN zones... Does anyone know WHY this is happening? All my other attributes seem to be just fine, it's just Death Magic. As someone who rather deliberately built a Dervish\Necro... I'd kind of like to use the frakking Necro actions :/

So... Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Try getting your dervish to level 20.......any character that reaches boreal station before level 20 has their attribute points temporarily raised and reassigned, but only to the primary profession skill lines (secondary professions aren't allocated points).

even as a derv with 12 in death u wont get many minions nor will they be as effective, the higher death magic the more minions, i suggest leaving minions to a minion master and taking AOE lifestealing instead as a grenth derv
