question about Lion's Arch runs
gungo
What is the point of a Lion's Arch run to get to NF if it's that much easier to roll a NF character and level them to the point that they can just go to Lion's Arch?

People want a character with hair and/or face styles that are only available when you create that character in Prophecies.
You can ofcourse make any character in any campaign and use a makeover credit, but some people don't want to use their money for something like that.

I personally like starting out in prophecies more anyways.

You can also only get the Legendary Defender of Ascalon title with a Prophecies character. Why they wouldn't run themselves at level 20 is beyond me...but I'm sure there are lazies out there who'd want the run anyway.
Oh: And free skill quests. Tyrian characters get a heap of them.

The Purpose of the Ascalon to Lion's Arch run, is too much gold to spend, not enough to spend it on. The person may not have the skills to run themselves and don't want to kill everything taking up what little time they have. They just want to spend 30 minutes that day getting Max armor in Droknar's Forge ect...
The simple answer is, runners make money off of others laziness or lack of time.
