access problem

greetings.
returning to guild wars after a long time away.
ive reinstalled the game (the first version that ever came out) and ive forgotten all the passwords and character names now needed to access my old account.
my question is this.if i purchase a new copy of the game and its expansions and install same, will it clash in some way with the old account?
ive contacted support via email and they have as yet not got back to me,but to save time would it not be simpler to just buy the whole game anew and start fresh?
you may glean from the foregoing that im not exactly an expert in these matters so some advice from any such on this forum would be a great help! cheers

There are 3 campaigns and 1 expansion, but it's all the same 1 game, just different continents.
You can start with a new charecter on every campaign and later travel to other campaigns and expansion, so buy the rest and enjoy plaing on your old toons with access to 2 other continents and far norht.

Note: You get a b-day prezzie for each toon for each year since it's creation.
4th, 5th and 6th year prezzies would make you rich, if sold right.

I think you completely misunderstand what they are saying...

To answer your question, from the sounds of it, you would be better off buying the entire thing over again. The Trilogy or Complete Edition are both incredibly cheap, and if you were hoping to just pick up from where you left off, well, a lot has changed. Birthday presents do have value, but without your original access codes, access to the email address used, you might be dead in the water. Installing the game will not cause a conflict with the original you already have installed.

To answer his question 100% exactly.
No, buying anything else to your account won't clash it. It's even highly recommended to buy all campaigns and expansion and use the codes to your old account.

About the price of products. They're extremly expensive in NCSoft Store. Use any trustable e-shop and stone shop. If you find it, you'll get it almost for free, because the seller is glad he can sell it.

If you can prove that your old account is yours - you have the access keys and whatever else ANet might want - you can get your old account back. If you get your account back you can just add any new stuff to it.

You can make a new account if you want. The only way in which a new account might clash would be if you tried to use the same account name (e-mail address).

You could also do both. Many people have more than one account.
