The Last Snow

At daybreak in chain mail sparkling.

The swords pushing him to dark dale.

Hungry for the broken crown, when the first ice appears.

Glory and fame that he collects, until the last snow falls.

But even ice has a shadow, if the final dawn breaks.

The general of the steel ages, when the darkness dies.

Makes more sense when you see it in context.

Hope you like it, any (constructive) critiscism is welcome.

Would be nice if you could rhyme falls with something other than falls, but I like the imagery it conveys.

This one is already pretty old (made it 1 or 2 years ago.)

But I thought I should share it anyway.

A Reaper's Clock

Death was decided, the creature fell
Stabbed his heart, crushed his skull
A mystery Born, a shadow appeared
The killer's identity, raveled by mists
The reaper's clock stirred and slowly ticked on
Tick-Tack, a death's heart beat

Death must be fed, a storm of souls
A new soul's arrival, a new one doomed
Killed by a shadow, swallowed by mists
The reaper is ready, the execution has began
Tick-Tack, a death's heart beat

Death's incarnate, hungry for souls
A mask removed, a secret revealed
His incarnate does the slaughter
Tick-Tack, a death's heart beat

Absence of sunlight, realm of death
A grim reaper's throne, the torturing howls
Tick-Tack, a death's heart beat

A broken clock, the ticking stops
Silent and cold, realm of death
A shadow appeared, a throne retaken
Incarnate becomes king, the ticking returns
Tick-Tack, a death's heart beat
