Questions about the trilogy
Hawkflight
Okay, so I'm returning to the game after many years away, only to find out they released the two new chapters while I was away. I want to get these two new chapters, and the cheapest way to do that is to buy the trilogy pack. Now, what I'm worried about it this: If I do this, will I have to create a new account and lose access to all my current characters? Or can I just tie the two new chapters and M.O.X. to my existing account and throw the new Prophecies account to the winds?
Sierraa
There will be one code that will contain all of the games, you just add this code to your existing account and it will unlock the new chapters while keeping all of your old stuff.

You have two choices:
- Add the code to your existing account: log in and then Edit Account (bottom left) -> Manage Access Keys.
This will add the two new campaigns to your existing account. You keep everything you already have, characters etc. You just get 4 more character slots and two new campaigns added to your account.
Be aware that you will 'lose' the chapter from the trilogy that you already own. Because the trilogy comes with only one key, you can't separate the chapter you already have to give to someone else or create a new account with.
- Create a new account with the trilogy key.
This allows you to create a new account with the trilogy key. You won't be able to access it with your existing account, so it's pretty much of no use unless you really don't want to 'lose' that extra campaign from the trilogy.
Yes, that is what you should do, if you want to continue with your existing characters. Make sure you log in to your existing account and then edit that account to avoid accidentally making a new account.

Okay, cool. So, with this character I just started with (I'm still in Old Ascalon), can I pop over to the Nightfall area to grab some heroes then pop back over to Old Ascalon to do the Prophecies campaign with the help of said heroes?
Marty Silverblade
Not quite. To move between campaign areas/continents you'll need to reach the port city. In Prophecies this is Lion's Arch, in Factions it's Kaineng Center, and in Nightfall it's Kamadan. So you will be able to jump over and grab some heroes, but not until you reach Lion's Arch. Heroes are massive overkill at that point anyway.
Hawkflight
Okay, and how do I get to Lion's Arch?
Dzjudz
You'll get there by following the storyline.
Prestige
You can get a local runner to run you for money, or post in a outpost runner's thread here on Guru in the ''Service Offered'' forum.
The Ascalon - Lion's Arch run is ran for about 2,000 gold at this time, so if you have that kind of money, simply ask to be ran.
You could always go for the long way, by completing missions which will lead you to Lion's Arch.
The second option above is long compared to the run which takes 30 minutes.

Well, I don't have 2,000 gold unless I can transfer money between characters. (Can I do that?)
Also, from what I'm understanding, M.O.X. will be available to me right off the bat? Is this the case?

You can deposit your money in the Xunlai chest and grab it on another character.
To answer your M.O.X question : M.O.X will be outside waiting for your arrival just outside Lion's Arch. You will need to be level 10 & have access to the three other campaigns (Which is already done).

Okay, and will doing this also grant me the Igneous Summoning Stone and the other bonus items from the Game of the Year edition?
EDIT: Also, does the store still have the Complete Collection, which also contains Eye of the North?
EDIT 2 - THE EDIT'S REVENGE: Also, is it possible for me to get the game through Steam and still merge it with my existing account?
EDIT 3 - RETURN OF THE EDIT: Also, the Bonus Mission Pack. Does it function as an epilogue to the stories, or a side story, or does it take place in the middle of the existing storylines?

The BMP missions are repeatable, so you can get as many weapons as you want. But they cannot be traded to other players (so this isn't really a "get rich quick" option).

Cool, thanks.

I don't think the Complete Collection was ever in the ncsoft / ingame store, only the trilogy. The Complete Collection (trilogy + eotn) was available in stores in non-US territories only I believe (I have one here in Europe).
I don't know how buying GW through Steam works. But if you just get a key code to make an account with, then yes, you could use that key to add to your existing account (like I described above).
Edit: yes, I believe buying the trilogy or the complete collection will grant you those items (summon and goty bonus items).
