Closed: Tyrian r7 Sword
Showtime
Plz CLOSE. Thx everyone and thx for the offers from 100k to a bit more than some people thought it would be worth.
Can someone pc this old sword for me.
Long Sword
Gold
Req 7
15-22
14>50
Non-inscribable
Thx!
EDIT 2:
TYVM for your input so far. Love to hear from some of the other collectors too.
After researching, I know that at least one of those r7's got bid up much more than 2200e through pm's I know that a clean14>50 r7 like this is ultra rare, but only worth as much as the people bidding are willing to go. I collected a few 14>50 r8's of pop tyrian skins. It's a quirk and they are all personalized for my 2 physical mains. Those, even clean, aren't worth much, but I think this is and might add to my collection.
EDIT: Might be hard to get an accurate price... Would just like to know around the min that it should go for.

A friggin lot of ecto to start. Prolly like 1,200e then goes higher from there. Stick in highend to see what gives. I think a 15^50 went for like 2200e or more fairly recently iirc
pawning jock
1200e is too high imo
Brave Kubanan
I guess that 15^50 one sold for that much coz it was perfect, i personally think this one would be around 350e, neevr know what ppl may pay tho.

As for the sword, 300e sounds right. Can always get more if interest is high.

A q7 Long is a rare beast, and it comes down to who is interested, could go quite a bit higher to the right collector, but as people have said, should not be too hard at 300e type range.

Longswords are one of the most common req7s out there. Of course q7 15^50 are very sought after but a 14^50 is worth significantly less.
250-300e if you ask me.
250-300e if you ask me.
pawning jock
i would go around 250-300e aswell
StueyG
Agree with the last two. The rest sound like price hyping. I have seen several r7 14^50 longs, and it was not long ago that they were 100e max, prices just recently started going up on them
Matrix Arcade
I would say around 200-250e. Have seen one go for 160 very short ago. Seems interest has slightly risen tho.
Chaos Theory Pvp
I would go for around the 200e

Haha I had a feelin this would be controversial.
Not that I care alot cuz just like the guy with the perfect r7, I don't need to sell it right now or ever if I don't want to.
200-300e eh?
Can I play devils advocate? Here's why it's worth a bit more than 300e. All perfec/near perfect r7s are basically spoken for. THERE ARE NO NEW MAX R7'S AS FAR AS WE KNOW. New is the key word. R7's probably get customized or put in collections at higher rate than they get dug up, but who knows. So how many r7 14>50's popped up this past year? People had no problem paying 600+ ectos for bday EL Tonics that most knew would lose value every day. Who here bought one for over 400e? They couldn't be customized and new bdays guarantee it will continue to drop. Oh but you get to show em in kam, right? How about things like perfect/near perfect low req shields that go for 300+e . Perfect r8 swords also go for a fair bit. They both continue to drop and shields are almost never customized, but are worth more than this sword? Somehow there a lots of r7's in particular 14>50 Long Swords? Hey there weren't a lot of max r7's even when they dropped. The logic doesn't sound right. The only justification for the 200e quotes would be that the poster thinks buyers don't understand rarity and don't appreciate gw history. Or maybe they know demand won't be high cuz there are better investments like minis. The lowest req max damage swords that haven't dropped for years are worth more than most things that continue to drop. Exceptions would be highly desired and rare skins and maybe Polar bears or some other ultra rare drop. Obviously ultra rare minis are gong to be worth more for 2 reasons. Apparently we know the exact amounts of them and you can show them off in town. We have exact numbers on some minis, but do we have even estimates for r7 gold max long sword 14>50's? How many uncustomized exist? 10? 20? How many Kanaxai are there again? That's my logic and is why I think that perfect 15>50 was worth more than the 2000+ ectos tha was offered.
Factor in that though ectos are at 6-7k lately, and they really can't be worth what they use to be. There are more ectos in the game than ever before. There are also less active players than ever before. Don't know if more Arms are farmed than exchanged cuz of the hom, but people definitely farm more ectos each day than the ectos they use for obby armor. So if they weren't used as 4-8k markers, they wouldn't be worth much. This sword on the other hand, can not go down in value unless ectos skyrocket or they decide to allow max r7 or lower req to drop.
Maybe I'm just a fan of things like unconditonal damage weapons and other items that don't drop any more. Even minis that won't get produced again are pretty cool. But not as cool as unconditional max weapons imo. Cuz one is for town and the other can be used to actually play the game. One is a gimmick and used as a money marker. The other was removed from game because the devs felt they were op.
Thx all. Any of those quotes could be right imo. Only an auction will settle it and even then all it takes is 2 bidders to bid it up or 1 potential bidder to be out of the loop for it to go a bit lower.
