Hallo all, looking for some advice for Naphui Quarter if I can, because I'm getting stuck and it's starting to frustrate.

I'm trying to clear Naphui Quarter in NM. I'm starting with the Phoenix, moving on to the Dragon, then the Turtle and finishing with the Kirin (so travelling anti-clockwise around the map). I always manage to make it right the way through, but then finally get killed and defeated at the Kirin's group - the combination of the Stars and the Turtles punch my ticket.

I can't seem to successfully pull any of them away from the Kirin to divide and conquer; I know that with all the others if you wait patiently, eventually the Stars will move around and you can get them to aggro you and draw them away, but with this final celestial they just all sit in one huge lump in the middle and I'm not capable of drawing them off at all. As soon as I potentially manage to get the attention of a couple of Star Sentinels on the edges, it immediately auto-aggros all the celestials whether they're in my aggro sphere or not.

My approach to this group is to go across the bridge from the South, as I'm going anti-clockwise in the map so that's the only route I can seemingly take to get to them.

My setup is me + heroes (I prefer to play solo instead of relying on others because 99% of my guild is AWOL due to RL).

Me - lvl 20 R/Me in Norn Armor w/ lvl 20 dire white wolf companion.
Heroes - Xandra, Ogden, Olias, Livia, Gwen, Vekk, MOX (all lvl 20, all elite armored).

Is there anything that I can do to draw the last group into separating or a different combo of heroes that would be better to take with me? It's driving me crazy, I've gotten to that final celestial group at the last boss about 10 times now and been defeated each time and of course the problem is that I can't progress any further without completing this mission, because Factions won't allow you to sidestep them.

While not the best way to do it you can pull the supporting forces away from the celestials and kill them all.
Then after you have done that kill the four celestials one by one.
I know this because in my early days playing I too got totally stuck on this map.

These days I find a minion master or two and perhaps a ritualist with spirit spam means you can blast your way through this map even in hard mode.
I do it in the same order you do and find the only problem is the last group but holding the party back so the minions don't charge in then using a bow to pull the forces piecemeal works most of the time.

I have neither the reflexes or skill with builds to do this mission in an elegant manner so I just use brute force.

Too many MM's for the amount of corpses, take another mesmer to compliment your Gwen and pull the smaller Star Sentinel/Blade groups to your spirits as best you can.

Pulling is certainly the answer on that map if you don't your minions work against you drawing any and all enemies to the fight.
I find the combination of pulling the enemies to your party then having an earth ele put up a few wards hitting them with minions and spirits blows them away.

I also use my spirits to defuse the initial blast of powerful skills, by putting my spirits in front of the party.
Enemy hits them with everything they have, usually their most powerful skills then I summon the spirits to me.

2 and even 3 minion masters are possible in some areas but its an art to getting them to work well.

try clearing entire mission of all monsters first, then going back thru and killing the bosses, its easier

Thanks for the suggestions all, I managed to get through it on the first attempt using a combination of those suggestions I switched out Livia for Lo Sha as another mesmer and went around wiping out every Star I could find before I went back for the first 3 Celestials and finally just rushed the Kirin and managed to kill it.

For anyone that comes across this thread as a proph character that is having trouble with Nahpui looking for help, this is the setup I ended up running with successfully (23 mins):

Ogden - healing
Olias - minion master
Xandra - spirit spammer
Gwen - hexes
Vekk - AOE (lightning)
MOX - standard derv
Lo Sha - interrupts / hexes
