Account Retrieval

Hello...I have forgotten my password from my account from maybe 3 years ago. I have sent a ticket to the support team with the proper email address and access keys associated with my account asking if they can help me retrieve my password, I have not heard back from them for almost 12 hours. I also tried the "reset my password" function in game which is supposed to send an email to your account and have not had anything returned to my e-mail in about 14 hours. All I am missing is my password to the account. How long will this take or is this something that I need to figure out myself? Thanks.

support will probably take at least 24 hours. i hope you have the cards with the activation codes on them, because they might want those. have you checked your junk mail folder for the reset email?

I only have 1 access code remaining and it was a bonus mission pack that I purchased with my credit card. All the others I lost when I moved to a new house I believe. Not sure if it will help...but I did send that info in the support ticket.

I would say patience is the key. I had to wait three days when I decided to get back into it and realized you now had to remember one of your characters' name. I e-mailed them all the necessary information in the original request and three days later I was good to go. I might have posted that during the weekend though so maybe that's why it took that long. Just don't worry, you'll get an answer eventually.

For me it took about 2 days to get an answer about changing the login e-mail because my old one was hacked by the time I wanted to get back in to GW. Just hang in there, they'll sort you out eventually.
