Level 7 Obsidian Armor (NF Ferry to Cantha)

Hey all, I am trying to get a lvl 7 character with obby armor.

I managed to get lvl 8 obby, this because I got agro of some foes due to the cinematic at Vizunah Square which teleported me right between the enemies and got pushed by 32Exp to finish at lvl 8.

This was a Prophecies character so it had 1k exp when I left Pre, but i heard some stories about people who managed to get a Night Falls character to cantha with only 250xp. This done with a ferry to Kaineng Center or Lions Arches.

Now I want to start with a Night Falls character to get more room for errors.

Can some one explain me how that ferry is done and if some one can do it for me? (:

1. Fail bonus at Chahbek Village. This is easiest done with a necromancer hero. Necromancer dies, minions kills the paragons, you gain 250xp.
2. Get a taxi to Consulate Docks.
3. Get a ferry to Kaineng Center.
4. Join someone with quest "Welcome to Cantha" or "Mayhem in the Market" to gain access to Vizunah Square.
5. Fail mission bonus (+30min -> 1000xp)
6. Join someone with "Closer to the Stars" directly after to gain access to Nahpui Quarters.
7. Fail bonus in Nahpui Quarters (+30min -> 1000xp)
8. You're now ascended with a total of 2250xp, level 2.
9. Get to FoW.
10. Let someone else complete quest The Eternal Forgemaster.
11. Complete Defend the Temple of War (10000xp), Restore the Temple of War (10000xp).
11. You're now at a total of 22250xp from quests alone. As level 8 is 26000xp, that gives you 3750xp leeway from "accidental xp".

A NF character can't get into the FoW until they have completed the quest "hunted" Sorry, NF is the worst way to go.

does not matter if you go to cantha and do it there. but how do i skip the first 2k from the first quest?

what is the purpose of having a low lvl char with elite armor? just curious because this is the first time ive read about it.

A Nightfall character can ascend in Cantha, I've done it numerous times. Prophecies as well. However, I dont think a non-Nightfall character can ascend with "Hunted" quest.

Join someone with Koss who will start the mission for you.

Join party with someone who is doing "Closer to the Stars".

To get to The Fissure of Woe, all players of the party must be Ascended or Weh no Su (Elonian characters may instead complete the quest Hunted!).

Elonian players may, don't have to be Hunted!.

If anyone do plan of doing this and need a quick run, I might be able to help with it. I got quests open to taxi to docks, ferry to cantha, get you to vizunah square. After that I also have Closer to the Stars to get you directly to nahpui quarters. I would do the missions as well at 30+ minutes for minimal xp. Once ascended I'd ferry you to LA. However, I don't have a good runner for LA-ToA so for that part you need a different runner.

We managed to get obsidian armor at 23,093 Exp. and /Age of 3 Hours and 32 Minutes.
Skipping quest rewards from all quest and foes except one at at Nahpui Quarter.

How we did it:
1. Started a Character in Prophecies
2. Did mesmer quest as second because it's the fastest and easiest one. Let some one else kill the 3 foes in the water and kill the Bull for both of your quests.
3. Go back in town to go on quest to Old Ascalon, 1k exp now.
4. Flag hench forward till the end and finish.
5. Get a run to Lions Arches
6. Menhlo's Request to get in Cantha (Kaineng Center)
7. Get a run to Vizunah Square (Foreign) finish it over 30 min to avoid bonus
8. Join someone with "Closer to the Stars" directly after to gain access to Nahpui Quarters.
7. Fail bonus in Nahpui Quarters (+30min -> 1000xp)
8. You're now ascended with a total of 3000xp, level 2.
9. Get to FoW.
10. Let someone else complete quest The Eternal Forgemaster.
11. Complete Defend the Temple of War (10000xp), Restore the Temple of War (10000xp).
11. You're now at a total of 23000xp from quests alone. As level 8 is 26000xp, that gives you 3000xp for mistakes.

Next time could probably cut down time under 2 hours.
1 hour for the missions, and 1 hour for the rest.

Well its 30+ mins x2 for both coop's so that's 1h already
Its 5 minutes Pre, taking 3 quests and let some one else kill river and bull for less XP, then the flag part in the cave, well that's about 5 minutes too.
And then a run from Ascalon to LA > ToA about 20 mins.
Then to KC and quests from there.
And finally the fow run, will take about 15 or 20 minutes.
+ I had to find people who could sell me 105 shards which took some time haha

I don't think a sub 2h is possible with a prophecies char, but it could be close I guess.

Let's see from Kamadan, assuming you have all shards, ectos, and runners ready:

So there's a next challenge for you, do it UNDER 2 hours times at level 7
