Halloween 2011

The leaves have turned. The air is chill.
Spectral fiends do what they will.
We light a candle, draw the shades,
And hope it's just the light that fades.

Can ancient bonds still hold back doom?
Is there no everlasting tomb?
Should we help break the Mad King's yoke?
Are we a punchline in his joke?

Let's robe ourselves in others' guises,
Dodge the tricks, and seek out prizes,
Risk our souls for passing fame,
And pray that this is just a game.

Halloween Events

* Preparations have been made for Halloween 2011.
* Costume Brawl has been updated with new hero and villain costumes.
* A new challenge mission will become available early next week.

Wondering if this still refers to last year's quests or if new ones are really coming to go on with the story.

The in-game store and NCsoft online store show the male Ravenheart Witchwear Costume in black. We will change these images to reflect the default color--orange, but we do not have an ETA on when those store images will be changed. Like all costumes, they can be dyed. We're sorry about the confusion that the store images may cause.

EDIT: The Witchwear costume when purchased in-game is currently defaulting to black. However, this default color will change to orange when the next update goes live--which should be later today.

The Winds of change exclusive offer pack is still in the store aswell... not like i like being the person who makes people pay more money but ..hey

a 10 meg patch for a festival, challenge mish and a couple new quests?? I don't even remember the WoC patches being this large...methinks there may be more hidden away in there. Call out the .dat divers.

Breaking news: Costumes for Halloween 2011 are almost immune to clipping.

Shame they forgot to translate their names properly but hey, at least they look great.

Well it appears that the mad king isn't going back this year since we are questioning his "everlasting tomb" this will be fun maybe a new outpost

I really like the looks of the Vale Wraith costume, so I'll probably end up picking up the costume pack sometime later today.

A new challenge mission sounds very interesting as well. Looking forward to seeing what that is.

i guess its my bad eyes but its hard to see the new costumes in game. can we get some pics here?

Some of the builds call for it, nothing makes me happier than using Holy Spear on a minion attacking two warriors and I kill them both with it
