Big Thank you to the Live Team
Curo
In my years of playing GW and using this forum, I've never seen a post like that of John Stumme's on the original Halloween thread. I really do like this guy! He brings the players and the developers together. There shouldn't be any barrier between us, as we are all here to enjoy this game together, and we wouldn't have the game if not for their hard work.

A big thank you from me as well. I don't have nearly as much time to play anymore, which may be why I'm so fine with just a few quality updates, but regardless I like to think that I'm happy because I keep my expectations reasonable. The stuff that we do get is free and fun, and that's a deal that's hard to argue with.

This game consumed my life the first year it was out. I took a break after that, but have come back with a vengeance 4 years later and am still enjoying myself. Thank you for keeping the game fun and interesting.

Thanks very much to the Live Team for their hard work. It would have been easy to just close the loop and let each years' events be the same but I for one am glad that they aren't.

I think many forget that this game is brought to us by real people, who have actual human emotions and take pride in their work.

I'd like to thank them as well, keeping this game enjoyable. Now only if they'd give the player base what it's wanted for a long while now...

I bought Guild Wars on May 2nd, 2005, a few days after release (heathen!). I am still playing well into 2011. Most of the games I've bought over the last few years, I had about spent two weeks to two months playing at most before boredom set in and I uninstalled. I think that speaks volumes towards the type of world and game ANet has conjured up (or my otherwise very shitty attention span?).
I can't wait to continue this journey into, and alongside Guild Wars 2 hopefully for many more years to come.
Thank you ANet! <3
