Dyeing is half the fun of a weapon and it sucks when cool skins such as the envoy ones have the axe dye-able but none of the others. You pay 200e for one of these so why not just make them all dye-able?

I agree.

What could be a valid reason for such discrimination? Maybe it's a glitch & they haven't gotten arround to addressing it yet...(as the Green version is dye-able too.....)

@ 200e a pop, I reckon you should have the right to dye it. But thats just my opinion.

Nope, there are many weapons which cannot be dyed.

As for 200e, no one forces you buy these common-as-muck weapons do they?

Either buy something nicer which is actually "rare" for the money, or buy something else.

No one forces anyone to buy the damn things.

The price of the item has nothing to do with if it's dyable or not but if the axe can be dyed the rest of them should have the ability to be dyed too... At least for the sake of consistency.

This is the point I was trying to make. At least make it consistant for all of them. I'm sure there are many weapons that are not dye-able, all I am saying is that it seems odd that they would let you dye one type, but not the others........ and why is the Green Version of the Axe dye-able as well? I thought Greens were not able to be dyed? And remember, we are talking about Envoy weapons here.

EDIT: Oh, and FYI I don't own one of these weapons.

It sounds as if your against this for the sake of being negative toward a suggestion.

Many people like these weapons and some are not some 6 year veteran with stacks of ectos/armbraces. They work really hard for these weapons. I know someone who bought the sword the first day they came out because he saved all his coins. He did research and was told by many none of them can be dyed. Once he found out the axe could be dyed and saw a dye chart he immediately thought wtf. Dye has a very cool effect on the axe and it would not be hard or time consuming to make dye effect these weapons.

If not for the sake of consistency at least do it to give value to Anets work and make them more attractive to players.

P.S. I don't own an envoy weapon either.

I'd sign for this, don't own any but consistency is always a good thing in my opinion.

Not for the price or anything (i don't own one) but for nonsense. If axe wasn't dyeable nobody would have to QQ. But it is. Why only that weapon and not others? That's the question that wants a fix.

For a 100 gold Z coin weapon, making it dyeable isn't too much to ask. I'm all for this suggestion. I'd pick up the sword if it were dyeable and I could afford it (saving up slowly... 40 coins to go), but as it is I'm really not sure and might get the axe. If all were dyeable I'd get the sword or even the scythe, because I use those more.
