How to speed farming "Every bit helps"?
Sagittario
Hello,
I'd like to get surv on my rit via this Halloween quest, which requires 402 captures. Those gems are untradeable, so I have to farm them all by myself.
Could someone advice me how to speed this farm? What route is the best and fastest? Is there a way to shorten Weakened by Dhuum or multiple use of 1 corpse?
Thanks in advance

For starters I'm guessing you know you can get your 402 stones by putting in storage then talking to the NPC for more stones right? Thats one tip, and also you can collect them on any character that has UW, so if your more used to UW on another character you could use it there. There is alot of groups currently in ToA that do Skeleton runs that involves going as a party to kill like 6 or so skeletons then rezoning. Mind if you go in a group it could be quicker then heroes and its alot cheaper on entry fee technically too.
Thats my advice anyway... If your major patient you could gain the skeletons over the year and wait for the long term reward but i dont think this point in gw's life you want to attempt that.

I've got the empty gems already and started the farm, but I found it slow.
Spiritz
You will find its def a slow farm - especially for the amount thats needed

Just as the title says, every little bit helps.
Even if you get a few hundred thousand xp it'll help get you a jump start on the title or get you within striking distance.
Remember, every run of FoW in NM (easily done with heroes) give 100k xp so if you are close just get some shards and you are across the finish line.

Well as a solo farmer yes it is going to be slow but if you get a group that's doing a UW and farming skellies you can easily get 40 per run. My guild mates have done this, just takes a lot of time per run. In my opinion it just feels less grindy. Doing the same thing 10 times is better than doing it 30+times. either way it's the same amount of time the only difference is the amount of money you spend.
Kranas
You can't really speed this too much, assuming you have no issues with the enemies in the UW because of the CD on using gobstoppers. Its what a 50 second, 1 minute CD? 400 minutes just for the waiting to use gobstoppers...

Well i Run heros with my paragon- I manage to capture a Minimum of 11 skeles a Run and max of 16-17 within 16-20 Minutes. Even the groups with multi skeles, Cap one, run away, wait until the Weakness is gone and repeat.
====How i do this Quickly=====
Start off by small pulling Aatxe and the Skele when entering UW. Capture that first skele and flag heros back. Take the Quest from "Lost soul" and clear the Chamber. Now you can access all of UW on the Map below i have Linked close and good Spots to capture the skeles. There maybe 2,3 or 4 skeles in some locations. Go from Number Order from 1 To 7.

Apparently I seem to have written my original post as if I wanted to make people do it the way I do it. I just suggested a farm that I think is pretty fast.
But to each his own and because I seem to have stepped on some peoples toes by accident I'll just delete the crap I wrote before. In the end GW is a game, meant to have fun, so if I may, I would like to humbly suggest that people do it the way they enjoy most.

1skelle run is killing the one at spawn and resigning, you can get 2/min if you have fast party.
but on average i farm 30 every 30-40min (so one stack every 35min)

I'm doing the same run as Shenro
SoS + 7h HM
45-50 skele in 1h

yeah with heroes I do 11 skellies per ~13 min.
I usually run past the final few Smite Crawlers for those last 2 skellies.
Killing those annoying things are what takes up most of my time.

Now I understand how you can get fast skele farming (Drowze, i hope you don't think I was having a go, I just hoped you knew something I didn't) using scrolls and mapping in & out of the UW, I wonder whether that is a cost effective way of doing it.
Even split among a PUG of 8, collecting 1 skele per scroll must knock a big hole in the profit you make from doing the quest. Is it still cost effective?

@nuclear herring: np mate, I didn't get offended by your or any other post... it seemed to me that Shenro got the idea that I was putting his way of skele farming down, so I just removed my post to eliminate any misunderstandings all together.
You are right about 1 skeleton runs being a bit costly. I have thought about that as well shortly after I was introduced to it by a guildie. But normally in the pugs that form in ToA you get 40 runs for 5k (each of 8 players pays 5 runs... I mentioned scrolls because they are faster, I don't use them myself for skele runs either). So that's 1k investment for 8 skeletons and you get 1k for 3 when getting the reward. If you add the ToT bags you get as well, then I personally believe the speed of the farm justifies the cost. But that's something everyone needs to decide for themselves.
I completely understand that this kind of grinding isn't to everyone's liking and I usually do something else after 40 runs as well^^ That's why I edited my post to say that you just need to do the one you like the most. A stack of tots more or less won't make or break your ingame wealth status either
Edit: And I mainly farm skeles for booze/party/sweet points, so I'm not selling all the ToT-bags. So if the cash reward pays back the runs, I'm already satisfied. Just adding this so you know I'm not actually trying to maximize my profit either.

Hey guys, I farmed up the 402 skeles using the Skele farm PuG method of just clearing the first chamber. Didn't take long, only 2 days or so of moderate gaming.
Now I face a new problem, what's the fastest way to cash them in? Zoning between rewards is currently the only option I see.

rezone is the only way
402 = 134 zoning OMG
currently im around 460 skele
i take the last 2 days to take the rewards
because i wont sell ToT
