Hey,
Is there anyways I can very quickly port from one city to another? I know the hotkey is M to open the travel-map, but is there a key to select the nearest city and teleport there? Or is the fastest way to M + find a city to click on + enter?
Oh and other question: How do I remove runes/insignias from my equipment (not replacing, but completely removing)
Thanks,
Me

1. No. Logging out or exiting will return you to where you started. Or jumping go guild hall and then selecting leave guild hall. Nearest? No.
2. http://www.guildwiki.org/Perfect_Salvage_Kit only way EoTN and you need rank 3 in faction where the crafter is located.

Note: If you use an Expert or Superior kit, there is a chance of destroying the base item (not the mod). If it's something you don't want to destroy, such as your fancy armor, you'll want to use a Perfect Salvage kit.
Perfect Salvage kits can be gotten in EotN from [consumable] NPCs. If you don't have access to EotN, there are people who sell them in Kamadan and/or L.A.

Oh okay, thanks for the answers.
I was worried about the map hotkey because I am trying to get survivor and if I get into a nasty situation with like 10% hp left I could just quickly zone out as last resort, would that work then?

Also,
Alt+F4 and F12+Enter work too. Though, it's not completely guarantee and unsafe.

Okay thanks, the guild one seems good.
And I dont want to try alt-f4 as there is the small lag always which keeps you in the servers for a few minutes after the force log off (for such cases if you would lose internet connection and trying to re-connect)
Thanks case solved

If you are the only human character playing with heros or henchmen you can type /resign. This will "kill" you and your party, but the death WILL NOT be counted towards survivor and you are able to click a button to return to the outpost you left from (or open the map and choose wherever you want to go with the pressure off).
If you arnt using the chat for anything whilst out and about, you can say /resign in the outpost before you leave (it wont do anything) but now when your outside it is saved in your chat history. So quickly typing Return, Up Arrow, Return, will cause you to resign and save your survivor without an offical death.
This will only work if you are the only human player and there may be a slight delay in it registering the resign so dont leave it too late if you're in trouble.

You could map something like Y button to logout, so pressing Y+Y would instantly log out you out (Y for logout, Y for Yes). Default action for Y is the new Minion/Spirit Panel so you would have to put that somewhere else as well.
Otherwise just flag your heroes ahead and stay back a bit. Oh, and make sure you only use minor runes, max armor, and max health. Foes generally goes for the targets they estimate will die easiest, make sure they consider you last.
