For those who don't know you got a hex during the Halloween Finale it said you would receive something special. For those who have received it what does the hex give you?

Rewards r a bit weird.
First time i actually won a game of Rock/Paper/Scissors, but did not get the 10ToT bags as reward. I did not get a perfect score this time (less then 30 ToT bags)
The second time, i got perfect score 30 ToT bags, and suddenly i had 130 ToT bags, a 100 more.
That may be the somthing special then, 100 xtra ToT bags if u get a perfect score.

I lost the hex because of losing rock, paper, scissors. Stakes are pretty high with that game this year it seems.

Apologies if this takes the thread a bit off course...but can anyone confirm if the possible hex reward is for each visit ...or if you need to avoid being killed by his Mad Pumpkin-ness the *entire* 9-visit finale? I'm not able to try this myself right now, but I have a fellow guildie who says she received 30 ToTs (implying a perfect "score" during a visit, minus the 10 additional for winning RPS), but did not receive any extra tater ToTs...
The wiki description of the hex says "...if this hex is still active on your character at the end of *a* finale", implying a single visit.

One has to be at each visit at /kneel command to receive hex then to receive 100 tots complete all requests w/o fail
Repeat hex must be present and perfect score must be acheived for 100 tots

So if you have both campaigns, you could easily get more than 1,000 tot bags from the event if you really wanted to.

Undocumented yet - I see no mention of it on the wiki: while under the effects of this hex, you also gain one Gamer point each game you win. Successfully completing all the games awards 30+25 Gamer points.
EDIT - It's now mentioned in the notes, but still, no info about the +25 points bonus for completing all the games.

This would have been so cool...if they had done the finale during the weekend and didn't force those of us with jobs to go afk....just saying.

yeah sunday would have been better....lots of peeps work on monday/go to school/have rl obligations that just arent there on the weekends (and conversely I remember a bunch of peeps wishing that events would run during the week since all of their rl obligations ARE on the weekend).
but this is one of the few (only?) holiday that actually runs on the holiday itself....has since the beginning--we all knew it would be on halloweenday....
I stayed awake for the 1st 2 rounds (with both computers running--got one computer to keep the hax...couldnt type quick enough for the other)...then left myself afk so I could get a few hours of sleep----
will check out my other account to see if the gamer points are there later

All instruments apparently have to be played among the players present, or he'll kill everyone. I had the same thing happen in a mostly afk district. Thorn complained about the lack of drums and killed everyone. (Can't remember his exact quote.)

yeah I remember a few years ago (06?) that me and one other person were the only non-afkers in the district...had to keep changing instruments.
I tried an experiment ...I kept my character in the same district (without moving) after a successful finale (got the extra bags and extra gamer points)...the hex stays with you-slowly ending, however, the next time the mad king showed up, and you kneel--it would restart....I am now seeing how long it takes for it to 'end' (was there for the last finale--and 7 hours later--still have the hex.
(was even picked for rps and won--and that round got an extra gamer point!)

nope, as soon as you do 'kneel' again, it resets.....looks like the hex is going to last 12 hours (at 10 hours already and its almost gone).
edit: yep at 12:01 pm (anet time)..hex ended for a total of 12 hours.

I would like to thank the Anet team for this addition. I have moved on to other games, but I still play through the holiday events and new content. It was a nice treat. Thank You. See you on Wintersday! (or WoC part III if that comes first.)

gotta 2nd that nerfherder....getting another 300 or so gamer points this way was nice (since I am horrible at the 'games' that gives those points)...was nice to get something for being there and doing everything right--though I was very concerned when the mad king picked me (beat his butt
