Really strange error 007

I get an error 007 only when I try to log into my Dervish main. I can log into any of my other characters fine. Anyone know why?

Probably depends on the character's last location. Where did you leave it before disconnecting?

And, what graphics are you running? (My guess is Intel Integrated).

Happened to me too this morning. I was disconeccted while in LA. When i tried to log in, i couldn't (007). Than my internet didn't work for a minute or so, so i fixed it, went back to gw and logged in just fine.

I logged out in Lion's Arch. Also I'm running on a GeForce GTX 570. Not sure what my card would have to do with it being that it's only one character having the problem.

Any ideas on how to solve the problem?

Intel integrated cards do not support DX8 effects. These effects are used in EoTN and those integrated chips are known to generate issues while in certain outposts like Central Transfer Chamber.

Anyway, in that case, the game would simply crash to your desktop, while Err007 is a connection-related issue.

Assuming you're still stuck, try logging some other character, switch to another district (that is, if your default district is US go to a european district and vice-versa) and then restart the client. See if you can move your Dervish main.

Grenth seems to have killed my solution. While this gets me back onto my main... if I try to zone into any city in that city's active district... I get 007'd. Hell, I can't even manually choose half the districts without getting 007'd.

It only appears to happen in city hubs, possibly only those affected by Helloween, and only on one of my characters. ARGH.

This is a rather strange problem indeed.

I suggest you post about it in the official Guild Wars support forum (IMO it's the fastest/easiest way to get official support)
