Buying Humps! (No kidding! Check my buy thread)

Hello Kitty Krewe [HKK] Forever!-ish

Wow am I glad I clicked that link!!! Whatever you do, PLEASE DO NOT sell any of this stuff to whisper/pm offers before I finish editing this reply!

I may not know prices to quote you, but I'm going to try to help you out a little bit here.

************

1) The first thing you pictured is one of a kind and highly collectible!
That's one of those mauso drops. For search purposes I'm typing it out here -
gold "Equine Aegis"
ar 16, r12 Tactics
-3wH (inherent)
+41wE (inherent)
208g merch value
(For those in the know, there is no glitched shield handle there due to the name not ending in of Devotion)

You may have the only non-inscribable Equine Aegis in the entire game right there, and any one-of-a-kind thing like that is highly collectible. Sadly, it's also impossible to price check. The only way to know is to take offers and see what folks offer. I suspect that would easily get bids over 100 Ectos, but it's really hard to say. Seriously, take your time selling that - don't let anyone rush you!

2) purple -50hp Major Healing rune

While not one of a kind, that's also pretty collectible. As you probably know, major runes today have -35 hp, not -50. ANet changed them in ... 2006 I think it was. The existing runes at the time of the change were not updated, so the only -50hp major runes still in game existed back then. There are people who collect such things, but I don't know the market well enough to guess PC on that for you. I think it's at least 20k~ish, but I may be way too low.

3) Head armor (not costume hat) Zombie Face Paint

It is one of those items like the -50 hp runes, yes, but since it's also customized it might not be all that collectible ... unless it's customized for someone famous (at least in GW.) For curiosity value alone it might get a few k. There seem to be at least a couple collectors recently active with such collections, but I don't know how much they might offer for something customized.

4) 25% Sword Pommel of Charrslaying

That's another removed from the game item that can be quite valuable. I've heard of people paying over 100k for 25% vs. Charr mods, but I think there were/are enough of them in the game to say that's not the average price. Maybe average is more 50kish? I never sold any or got into public bid wars over them, myself, so I'm not at all sure what number to tell you.

5) r9 15^50 inherent spiky skin war hammer

While a nice inherent this is something that could still drop today, so it's not collectible for being true "oldschool," "prenerf," w/e other term you use to describe situations like 2-4 above.
I would guess you might get up to ~10kish for that.

6) noninsc Q9 15^50 Giant Slayers Hammer

These are tricky and I've tried to help PC them in the past a couple times. Here's a quote from old Giant Slayers Hammer PC reply that explains my findings about them ...

I'm afraid I can't give you an exact price or even a decent range, but I can tell you that I went looking for the same info not too long ago.

Last Fall, I started looking for a nice "Giant Slayers Hammer" The only two I could find for months were an r8 15^50 for way more than I was willing to pay for the name and an r11 14^50 that everyone seemed to think was merch food. I bought the r11 14^50 for 5k. Last January, someone offered me an r9 15^50 inherent like the one you pictured. Neither of us had any clue what a reasonable "fair market value" was, and we wound up trading for 10k. I told the seller I thought it might be underselling, but he was ok with it. I later saw a second r8 15^50 offered for sale, again at one of those "r8 collection" prices where I'm not sure how much is due to the r8 vs. the name.

These seem pretty off-the-radar. I have not noticed any others for sale since then (granted, I'm not on the lookout for them like I used to be.) I've noticed them appear occasionally in buy threads a couple times.

Back when I was looking for one, I probably would've bought up an r9 15^50 for a b/o of ~30k without hesitating. I have no idea if that's too high or low, as I simply couldn't find any recent trade history to go by.

Hopefully, someone will come along and give you better info or at least other opinions. Barring such luck, were that mine to sell today, I'd set b/o ~40-50k and be willing to consider lower offers. That's a REALLY rough guess based on what seems to be very low supply coupled with relatively low demand.

...
7) noninsc Q13 tac Aegis -2 hexed/-2stance

While those (shields with two phys dmg reducing mods) can no longer drop and such can be highly collectible (and sometimes useful with popular builds) I doubt yours is really worth very much. It's the -2/-2 for stance and enchanted combinations that are most highly sought after. Combinations with while hexed reducers are not usually as prized. On top of that, your -2wH is not max. -3wh/-2stance would be max for that combination.
I'll take a rough guess of no more than 20kish area, if even that, for this one.

It's not merch food, but it's not going to get much.

8) noninsc IDS

They still drop, and they should still be worth something. I haven't noticed the current market for them, but about a year ago I remember you still saw 15-30k for the ones from the Ice Imps.

9) blue Tribal Axe, 6-27 r8, 11wE inherent

Tricky! Certainly not merch food, but tricky. Other than maybe one from the mauso I mentioned before, there are no (or few) known max gold inherent Tribal Axes in the game. (The inscribable ones are relatively common and not a valid comparison.) I'm not sure how to PC this at all, but it's probably the sort of thing you put up for offers and see who's interested. I'd be no more surprised if it didn't get offers above 20k than if it got 100k+ offers: I think it's just impossible to say until you try.

10) r9T Gloom Shield, 10vPierce, +56wH inherent dual mods

Another one that could still drop today, so not collectible for being true oldschool. +hp while hexed is usually not that popular on inherent shields, and the hp mod is far off max (of 60.) I would guess this might get 5-10k but would be hard to sell at all. (I could be wrong!)

Ok, that's it, I'm done! YAY! I hope at least some of this helps you.

Cheers and GL! I will be most interested to see what winds up happening with all this stuff. If you don't mind, please update your OP with any results (or PM me if for some reason you don't want it public?)

EDIT - later
@ jimbo's reply below
- I most certainly defer to him to know current spiky skin war hammer and IDS pricing better than I do, so trust his numbers for those over mine.
- as for the Equine, I don't think there were enough of those inherent versions of previously inscription-only skins produced for the rather low-functionality of the mods to make that big a difference in interest on this shield. But jimbo is right that the only way to know is to see what folks offer.
- "novella"?!?!? hrrmphhh! That, dear sir, is a "thesis," tyvm!

Wow, any reply is going to seem half-assed compared to Luny's novella.

Equine Aegis - I assume that you removed the shield handle? Or did it not come with one? Anyway, it would've been much more valuable with three mods. As it is, I can't imagine you'd get more than 50k for it. As Luny said, it's likely one-of-a-kind, but the crappy inherents and lack of a third mod kinda kill it imo. Wouldn't hurt to have an open auction for it though. See what happens.

q9 15^50 Warhammer (spiky) - 20-25k, one of the more in-demand hammer skins
IDS - 12-15k
