The Most Desirable Skins

I was wondering if there was some kind of consensus of what the top wanted skins are? Or at the very least which you think are.

Mainly for shields, melee...

anything that is not oldschool is pretty much worthless now... Out of these Echo GotH Celestial Shields come to my mind.

desirable not = $ though. Especially if they come inscribable.

just look at the high end forum and dont be lazy. seriously, the price check forum has a few sticky's on this, and you asking just proves you have done no research at all

I'm not concerned with how much something is worth, otherwise yeah, I would have gone to price check. I never even mentioned money.

Like, it's my opinion that the Dragon bone Staff looks like gaudy shit(undesirable), regardless of how many ectos it's worth. I was wondering what others thought in said categories.

then its kind of a silly question. doubly silly because generally the most expensive items are the skins that most people find desirable. whether its because they're expensive that they're wanted, or because they're wanted that they're expensive, i think you'll find that wanted items = expensive items almost always

I think it is worth pointing out that desirable does not necessarily mean aesthetically pleasing. This is the greatest mistake people make whenever these debates begin.

personally glowing skins always appeal to me... chaos axes , eternal shields - etc. but i guess its all with preference

Sword: Broadsword, Zodiac, Jitte, Katana, Shinobi, Vertebeaker, Fellblade, Crystalline.

Axes: Summit Axe, Dwarven Axe, Tyrian Serpent, Zodiac, Gothic Dual Axe, Tribal Axe.

Hammer: Tetsubo, Glowing Runic Maul, Colossal Pick, Supreme Bludgeoner, Wolf Hammer, Zodiac Hammer, Summit Hammer.

Bows: Ironwing Flatbow, Zodiac Longbow, Naga Longbow, Platinum Longbow

Staves: Dragon Staff, Bo Staff, Zodiac Staff, Forbidden Staff, Celestial Staff, Outcast, Staff, Raven Staff, Cockatrice Staff.(skipping profession specifics)

Scepter: Jellyfish Wand, Wayward Wand, Platinum Wand, Celestial Scepter, Kio Scepter (skipping profession specifics)

Focus: Straw Effigy,Jug, Paper Fan, Plagueborn Focus.

No, the assumption here is cost and rarity.

If we look at what is actually "wanted" ie highest critical mass seeking XZY weapon, there are far more looking for Storm Bows and Fellblades than most of the high end listed.

Perhaps the OP could have been more specific in terms of the question posed.

This pretty much sums it up.

As far as ones I like... Ornate Buckler(love the "normal" medieval shield look) Kournan Defender, Vertebraker sword, Onyx staff... and the Jug has always been my favourite focus even tho I never use foci.

You're not alone. I've sold two INSCRIBABLE Q9 chaos axes for 100k each (so inscribable weapons aren't totally "worthless" as someone mentioned earlier even if they aren't worth hundreds of ectos).
