Thanks for any input!

1. Bo Staff, req 11 Channeling, 20/20 Healing
PC advice: 10-20k
--------------------------
2. Ornate Buckler, req 9 tac, +10 vs demons, +29hp
PC advice: 30-50e
--------------------------
3. Tribal Axe, MAX DMG, NON-INSC
Not sure if max non-inscribable tribal axes are "common" drops, so my fairy godmother insisted I check here before merching...
PC advice: Don't merch!
Spent a bit more time doing some research on max damage tribal axes from non-inscribable sources. From Guru sell threads (which I know hardly represent the entire GW world), there are only two other examples which are definitely from non-inscribable sources.
I know that as far as desired inherent mods go, "highly salvageable" doesn't even make the list. But check out the info below and consider how rare genuine max damage tribal axes from non-inscribable sources are.
Click the spoiler button to read more.
Tribal axes from non-inscribable sources:
Prophecies - since 28 April 2005
Factions - since 28 April 2006
Tribal axes from inscribable sources:
Nightfall - since 27 October 2006
Eye of the North - since 31 August 2007
Hard mode:
Prophecies, Factions & Nightfall - since 19 April 2007
Eye of the North - since 12 October 2007
Note: It is possible for an inscribable item to drop in NF and EotN without an inscription slot, as a white item. As such, some or even all of the white tribal axes listed below could have come from inscribable sources and are not "non-inscribable" tribal axes. Adding an axe haft/grip turns the text of the item blue, but without an inherent mod, it is essentially a white item when stripped of the haft/grip.
Guru search for "tribal axe" in Sell forum thread titles yielded 217 matches.
The list below shows max damage tribal axes with no inscription slot that were listed for sale on Guru since the release of the game.
14 February 2011, req 10, gold, 14% stance, has screenshot. (One of the "glitched" mausoleum drops. Supposedly will be "fixed" although yet to happen.)
18 May 2007, no idea on stats or if there was a screen as OP was edited by mod for Ventari's violation.
10 May 2007, req 9, blue, has screenshot in a foreign language (can anyone translate??) - seems like a legit max damage tribal axe from non-inscribable source!
19 April 2007 - Hard mode introduced for Prophecies, Factions & Nightfall.
(LOTS of non-max inscribable "caster modded" tribal axes for sale. These drop from low level normal mode foes in Zehlon Reach.)
27 October 2006 - Nightfall is released.
1 August 2005, req 10, 15^50, no screenshot. Almost definitely a joke thread, as was the habit of the kids back then. (Some funny comments in that thread though. )
This list does not take into account any that might have been traded elsewhere other than on Guru, or any that might have been merched or are being hoarded in personal collections. So who knows, there might be a few more out there.
However, of those listed above, only two are confirmed to be from non-inscribable sources. And that list includes all that have ever been listed for sale on Guru since the start of the game. Hopefully, this gives us an idea of how rare they really are after all.

PC advice: 20-30e?

I thought I should post here to go with the impressive search results. fallenangel whispered asking me about this axe before he listed it.
My understanding (and his, too, I think) of the history for Tribal Axes is as follows.
From the start of Guild Wars, Tribal Axes were a notably large axe skin and dropped only in areas with low-level foes unlikely to produce max damage weapons. They were also a rare drop in the sense that the drop rates for any "Tribal Axe" were (given many players' observations over many years) far lower than the more likely/common skins. For all of the above reasons, many players from the beginning and on coveted a "good" Tribal Axe. In the case of these particular axes, good was considered nonmax blue and even some white versions which would look like instant merch fodder with any other name weapon. The concept of having a max damage Tribal Axe was, to some, a dream of unattainable rarity. Something like a (guessing) 5-25 damage blue one with 11^50 would have been considered "godly" in some circles.
With NF's release, the axe appeared again as a low drop rate possibility on Istan. Again, foes in the area were not at all likely to produce max damage loot. Blue Tribal Axes with an inscription slot were highly prized by some for the new ability to modify these nonmax axes with perfect inscriptions.
With the addition of hard mode into the game, the foes that could drop Tribal Axes were high enough level to produce max damage weapons. Still, the drop rate for these was quite low, but it was possible to see max damage versions. (Despite what was most certainly significant effort to farm them and watch out for them in player to player trade, no versions in colors other than white or blue were found. It's not relevant to the PC in question here, but I thought it worth noting anyway.)
With the addition of EotN (and perhaps zChest) there were sources (not sure which) that could produce max damage and inscribable and gold Tribal Axes.
Now as to the question of "should I try to sell this?" I took the guess that it was not likely to be particularly valuable because
HM has been out for, what, four years now? While the areas where these can drop max and not inscribable may not be highly farmed, there have most certainly been A LOT of players vanquishing in that time period and must have produced at least some of these that look like yours already.
Some of the demand has been lost to people who like the skin and don't mind the inscription slot, so any remaining demand is more nostalgia for "the old days" with players who remember the history and are still active enough to bid on such things.
He told me he didn't remember that any like his (without an inscription slot and with max damage) had shown up other than the one known from the glitched mausoleum in Halloween 2010.
My guess was that what remaining demand there was for the "oldschool" one he had has been long since met over the years between new ones introduced and loss of interest in the game and his was most likely merch food.
But that was a best guess, so I told him to check here!
I can't offer PC target advice, as I really have no feel for the market on such a thing right now. Like anything else, it's worth what someone will pay for it, right? Given the range of responses so far, I'd say you should at least see if anyone is interested before trashing it.
EDIT - I just realized I responded to a PC for something like this recently on another thread, and I gave the guy what, perhaps, was better advice than I gave you when we spoke in game.

Tricky! Certainly not merch food, but tricky. Other than maybe one from the mauso I mentioned before, there are no (or few) known max gold inherent Tribal Axes in the game. (The inscribable ones are relatively common and not a valid comparison.) I'm not sure how to PC this at all, but it's probably the sort of thing you put up for offers and see who's interested. I'd be no more surprised if it didn't get offers above 20k than if it got 100k+ offers: I think it's just impossible to say until you try.
...
/EDIT
Unrelated to the axe, but click for any concerns about conflicts of interest with me posting on his thread here.
fallenangel is one of the handful of folks I've met first in GW and grown to think of as a true friend. While we are not currently in the same guild, we have been in the past. And the nature of our in-game relationship is such that we're practically "guildies" in all but the most technical definitions of the term.
I am a long-time Ventari's user, and I appreciate the resources this section has always offered players. I am also a former Ventari's mod (aka volunteer e-janitor,) so I should respect the guidelines I used to enforce on others. Therefore, I try to respect the spirit of the Ventari's rule prohibiting posting in a guildmate's thread, and I do not post in fallenangel's Sell threads for this reason.
If I feel I can offer any info or past trades about items in his PC threads which might help others with similar questions, then I do post. Like any reply I make to any PC thread, I offer only what information I think might help and/or my honest opinions based on my own experiences. To me, PC posts are not the place to let any bias for or against a particular user color the response.
I hope such is acceptable to the staff here and understandable to the users.
Yes, I am the "fairy godmother" mentioned. Nice one, dude, I can't deny it. I'll look forward to repaying what I owe you for that.
EDIT - Nov 12, 2011 - I just noticed this thread with a recent bid war over #5) a blue r8 6-27 inherent +11wE, post edits look like the axe went to the high bidder of 50e (~400k right now, I think.)
I thought this worth noting here, as I nominate this thread the official tracking log of oldschool Tribal Axe trades!
