q9 15^50 Half Moon hasn't been remotely close to 30e since I've been playing. More like 15k.

Have to agree, all q9 15^50 core skins are relatively common drops to this day, and Shortbows are not greatly desired period.

I'll agree with both of the above replies. To me, 15k is at least 10k more than I'd have priced one I meant to sell ... if I tried to sell it at all. There seems to be more interest in inherent ("oldschool") gear lately than there was when I was paying attention last (Winter/Spring 2011,) so maybe 15k these days makes sense.

Like Venganza, I've not seen much demand for short bows (bow type, not weapon name) over the other four types. I've not seen much demand for bows in general for ... a couple years now at least.

I know there was a time, maybe more like 4 years ago, when the bow you described might have been quite valuable. But I think that time has past. (I vaguely remember noticing trade spam in LA about Half Moons back when the blur of pink text was beyond my comprehension or concern as I explored the vastness of Tyria. That would've been around 2006 sometime.)

In my own playing I noticed they were not as common a drop as, say, Shortbow, but not at all so unusual that it struck me as noteworthy when I got one.


Honestly, the context of the OP makes me nervous about several possible explanations. The only one relevant to mention here is the possibility that we (those of us who've replied and the like-minded) have somehow missed that this skin is actually under-supplied for the demand of some market. I really doubt that's the case, but I'll probably start paying closer attention to Half Moons just from considering this (and hoping it because the other explanations, which I'm thinking are more likely, all involve an unpleasant level of crumminess.)

@ Chaos' suggestion below regarding 8 vs 9, then yes, that could certainly explain the difference. If this is all due to some such mistake or typo like that then I'll be happy.

All together I have never come across a person actively searching for a Half Moon, I'd say 10k is a generous amount. I think it would be hard to find a buyer period
