Whatever your reasons for searching this thread, let me just tell you--we have all of the above in Shadows of Ravenloft [SOR]. We have several GWAMM'ers walking around our guild hall, we have several players who have filled their HoM and are just playing for the love of the game and our guild. In short, there is plenty of help available for you in Shadows of Ravenloft[SOR] . We range in age from 18-40+ and come from all parts of the globe, but mostly US based. Our guild is large enough(90+) and experienced enough that we can smash through any mission in the game, so if you need help--all you have to do is ask.
What will we expect from you? No more or less than any other guild, be respectful in chat, be as active as possible, be able to at least listen on VENT and that's about it.
What can you expect from us? A well established 6 year old Luxon guild and thousands of hours of gaming experience from officers and members, an active guild leader and officers who are willing and quite able to lend a hand, regularly scheduled guild events such as NM/HM dungeon runs, and our newest addition Thursday Night Delights, but it's secrets are only known to [SOR] members , and FA/JQ syncs. We have no faction requirements, although we do make guild trips to farm faction (which is great if you are working on your LUX Title!)
And now a few words from our guildleader Thor Skullcrusher:
"Thor Skullcrusher was my first character created over six years ago. He's a warrior primary. He's been everywhere and done everything in GW. He as maxed many titles, and achieved the title of God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals. He has also maxed out his Hall of Monuments rewards (50/50).
I started playing GW at the insistence of my son who had already started playing and he loved it. I've been the Guild Leader of [SOR] for its entire existence, with the exception of about 5 minutes one night when I turned it over to my son so he could do something for the guild that I hadn't been able to do at that time. He returned leadership to me as soon as he finished what was needed, and I've been in control since.
I've always stressed that this guild be a relaxing fun place to be, and that everyone should have a good time while playing. I've also stressed that the guild should be helpful to one another. Guildies are supposed to help each other get things done that they can't on their own. The world of GW is slowly dying off, but [SOR] is still a haven of help to those who don't know what to do, or can't seem to beat the tougher areas. We have many very good players who're willing to help out when asked. So if you're looking for a GW home, consider [SOR]. We welcome just about everyone."
So, until GW2 is released, how do you want to spend the rest of your time in Guild Wars? Do you want to spend your time online grinding out titles alone? Or would you like to be part of a dynamic, 6 year old guild with a very active veteran guild leader and helpful, friendly guildies who plan on moving to GW2 together?
Thanks for considering Shadows of Ravenloft [SOR]. Please contact me here or with my IGN Honora Rey. I look forward to chatting with you soon!
