Question about EMo UWSC and energy management
upugaxa
So I go uwsc and most of the times on start-up pull I don't need to spam burning, I get enough energy from balth's spirit and casting bonds on everyone, but sometimes have to spam like crazy, what is happening then and why? Keep in mind I'm using the same m.o. every time.

It could also have something to do with which bonds you're putting on first. I haven't done UWSC in so long though. Also if you're going to be mean about any of the answers, don't bother posting a response. Rephrase your question or ask something else.

The reason ur energy gets drained is because the lt probably got stuck which means all ataxes just keep on hitting him, or the t2 gets stuck if duo pull, or the protbond draining 4 energy when ur to quick on bonding :P, also if running with mesmer lts some are stupid enough to use triple sups which is just plain stupid.

Depending on when you are talking about spamming, the time I find that it is a concern is when the whole team goes in to bodyblock on the initial pull, what happens is that is being attacked, and while the lt will only be hit a portion of the time (mental block, Shroud), everyone is hit for over the damage cap, causing you to need more energy.
And, as aforementioned, if the lt is stuck, then it can be tough on energy.

Maybe it's just different LT's running with or without Mental Block?

It depends on the lt armor (+10 under enchantment and shield), but also on his life. High life prevents prot bond from triggering with Grasping Darknesses.
It is not your fault if you have to spam like crazy, it is definitely lt ones.
