Your Stupidest Way Losing Legendary Survivor?

Dunno if this makes the mark but wth - doing the boxing and having the green light all way and getting to the last room ( all the dwarves and the sub boss ) and having a nice fight then in an instant im on the floor dead - no get up timer or anything - but the icon was nice enough to turn red a sec or 2 after.There was no warning/bouncing/stuck etc.
Ive had many types of lag but untill that moment had never seen or had that type of lag - was bad enough i lost a survivor but once bk in outpost it seemed i wasnt the only victim as several others died almost the same time as me - i actually felt a bit better knowing i wasnt the only victim.

Didn't actually happen to me but a good friend before the update.

We were doing a vanquish as a guild and after it was done everyone resigned except my friend, who said "But won't that kill me?"
We all answered, no it wont except for a rare bug 1in10k chance.
Yup she resigned got back to town and had one death 300k odd from r3, we all felt sooo bad for that.
Funny thing is i forget and do resign on my survivors from time to time and have never had it happen.

I like a few others lost my rit outside Boreals killing worms - not from lag but from being a stupid magpie lmao a worm had dropped a purple and I just HAD to pick it up unfortunately the pinesouls had other idea's a few boulders later and I was cursing lmao.

Of course this was before the revamped title so had to re-roll her am happy to say I finally did reach rank 3 on her and hit my gwamm on her the other week.

I also tried to get a r1 survivor in pre with the new v quests there she sits to this day @ 19 with about 25% exp got creamed by countess nadya plus lag.

My Ele was 20k away when I saw the "Do Not Touch" in Bahdok Caverns. I touched it.

Got body blocked and raped by the entire elemental offensive line.

Was about half-way to survivor on one char and decided on to experiment on a new build to tackle the doppleganger for the Augury Rock ZM. Needless to say, the experimental build was an epic fail.

I heard of this too, but even though I resigned 10-20 times a day on my survivor I never saw this happen. I'm tempted to say it's an urban legend and they might have gotten that single death without realizing it, but what would I know? :-)

Oh yeah, here's another failed survivor attempt. I was working my rit (before update) through Cantha and got to Senji's Corner where I got the idea to try solo that leeroy rit boss Orosen in.. which worked great for a couple of times. Even got his staff, but then he had enough of me and spirit rifted me into oblivion ^^ *Delete and reroll*

And as many others I also did wurms outside Boreal Station.. I was cheap and wanted to get most out of my gold scrolls so I also killed Pine Souls... but at one time they killed off my spirits too fast and stoned me to death ^^ Did I learn from this.. no.. next survivor attempt I did it all over again lol

Walking smack into a bunch of Modniir in Varaer whilst talking to someone else.
This was just after having got the EotN expansion - how was I supposed to know what Trample does ..... :S

Testing something on the Isle and then going afk with a vamp weapon equipped (and no heroes along). Could have been worse, happened only just after the first title.

I once got it in my head to see how long I could Survive as a completely solo character from level 1. Went AFK in the South Shiverpeaks w/ a vampiric weapon. Major Derp.

I've heard of resigning killing off a survivor before. It's not supposed to but as we all know sometimes after a new build bugs creep in and I heard there was once a bug where resign "deaths" counted against survivor. I won't resign on my survivor either. Better safe than sorry.

Anyways I think i will win the thread with this act of stupidity. Like so many others have said, I was told those Worms outside Boreal Station were good for survivors. I never even made it to the worms. I was killed by the Norn at the rez shrine.

Another survivor was killed by a hapless pug. I joined a pug to do Mayhem in the Market. Not the easiest quest but one that i've completed many many times with no trouble so i thought i could handle it ok even in a pug. We wiped in the Bazaar on the way to talk to the henchies when some idiot on our team decided to wander over to Lian's mob and drag them all back over to us.

Moral of the thread: Don't trust pugs ever and stay very far away from those Worms outside Boreal.

On my monk back when titles first came out I was caping skills with a friend out side house zu heltzer. we get up to the shove boss and i literly start typing to him and the boss and the sins with him jump me shove and i die instantly. I stopped playing the game for a month after that and was so tempted to remake the monk. I had already beaten factions and most of proph with her before she died to the damn boss... To this day I still go weekly just to kill him.

running an iw mesmer with a ton of monk enchantments (this is before hm came out). was doing the wilds mission and was chasing some centuars down. Realizing i got lead into a trap of like 10-12 centuars i decided i was out matched and ran for it. Was almost out of range when my health dropped to 1hp and i was like...wtf?!?! One arrow hit me in the back and it was all over.

Getting halfway through a boxing run to realize, you think you're lagging, but in reality both keyboard and mouse were gnawed through by a vicious rabbit.

At around 700k exp parking your survivor monk next to the ele boss at Tahnakai Temple mission when every hero & hench nuked it.

have done unwaking waters tons of time (NM)...never had a death---until my survivors tried, TWO of them got nuked by kunnie at the last battle (NEVER had it happen on any other characters)....good thing--I had a few characters working on leg. survivor, so these 2 just wont be getting the title (decided to NOT let my other 2 do uw for sometime)...

I was going for a GWAMM with zero deaths.
Had all the protectors and skill caps, most of the guardians, and was something like 80% through all the vanqs and carto.

And then I had a corner of vizunah square to map, and got paired with a newb on the other side who didn't skip cutscenes...

1.28 Mill. Went to take a drink, hit R. Ran into a mob... The end. Assassin remake #5, #6 is now Never Makin A Sin. And has yet to get survivor because I hate my assassin.

Being killed while doing the fow hero way, which i done 7 times before without dying, low risk for me but then in the waling lord forest 4 air ele's decided to spike me instead of the minions, spirits and heroes. Quite annoying.

Then it happened again while i was vanquishing, which if im on my own usually works, but i had a mate with me who has always been leeroooooyyyy king of aggro, another lesson learned, never vanquish with other people.
