Drunken N Brawlin

W/A

Heya all
I've only just joined this group & this is my first post (yay me)
I'm usually a spell caster but just today I decided to play something a little differant & decided to start a Warrior/Assassin. I was thinking of maxing on the Deldrimor title & so I got thinking aboot Deldrimor skills, particually Drunken Master & Dwarven Stability. That could be really fun with my warrior running aroond with a spiked club pissed off his li'l head (Awww bless his little cotton socks).
Anyways the reason I was starting this thread was to ask aboot other peeps experiance with Deldrimor skills as they're something I've never really persued before. Did you find they worked well or not & with what build were they used in?

Looking forward to hearing from you. :~{D

"Pre-nerf" is incorrect. It's pre-buff.

Yes, they're both very strong skills. Just make sure you've got some alcohol to get the most out of them. If not, it's Thanksgiving soon and there will be Apple Cider drops.

First off, welcome to GWG1.
Since you're focusing on a warrior, maybe this topic would have been better suited in the Campfire/Warrior section. Perhaps a friendly mod can move it there if they see it fit.

Most PvE skills are rather strong (main reason they're not allowed in PvP), so it never hurt to include some on your bar. Since you can have max 3 PvE skills on your bar at same time, it's good to think carefully what to bring. Drunken Master is a good skill for a warrior, but Drunken Stability isn't really needed unless you expect an area with lots of Knock Downs. Don't limit yourself to Deldrimor only, there are some great skills for warrior in the other lines too. What's better is of course dependant on the area and what kind of skills you bring.

Look here for more inspiration:
List of PvE-only skills
Some noteworthy skills for a warrior might be
"Save Yourselves!" for protecting your party,
Whirlwind Attack for attacking many foes,
Low Blow for dealing Cracked Armor to be able to kill them faster,
Sneak Attack for keeping strong attacking foes blinded (like Aaxtes in Underworld),
"I Am Unstoppable!",
"I Am the Strongest!",
...

You might want to consider a Dwarven Hammer Build:

http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:W/any_Dwarven_Hammer

Although rated as "good", I find it to be a really fun build to play In addition to the skills mentioned there, I take Enraging charge/Death's Charge, SY, and whatever additional skill as per needed.

With my warrior I have a lot of success in a hero physway team, easily rolling through HM dungeons and vanq. If energy is a problem whilst bunched up next to foes, I switch to a zealous hammer just before I hit CS and WA. Note: I obviously cant run this build whilst skill capping, in which case I normally run an Earthshaker build.

Hope this helps, but each to their own

About deldrimor skills Brawling Headbutt is a great KD on demand w/o need of use hammer: you can fit it perfectly in a Dragon Slash build.
Also, when you face lot of blind spam or anti-meele hexes(e.g:blurred vision)/block on mobs, Ascan is simply unbeatable.

Don't forget also that Para can be a useful 2nd prof(Enduring Armony can extend IAU or For great justice duration).
