For some reason i always get this Message that says

Guild Wars was unable to connect to an login server. This is very likely cause by and internet routing issue.

If anyone can help me this has never happened before.

Thanks if you can Help

Currently having problems at the mo with being disconnected from the server too constantly (though my girlfriend is sitting right next to me on it using the same connection with no problems). Think it might be something server side affecting just some people.

i first check to see if you can access the internet on something else. if you cant then its on your end. like it has happened a couple times for me lately. otherwise its on their end. which of course they wont ever admit to

Whenever I have persistent disconnecting I problems do 2 things:

1) Reset router.

2) Delete GW.dat and run GW with the -image command line arg.

If that does not help it is an error out of your immediate control.

However dont just assume it is "server side". The internet is not a direct line form your computer to an Anet server, their are a lot of hops in between where things can get messed up. If the above two steps do zilch contact support.

As usual, you forget about the middle. It's not just 'your end'...big long cable...'their end'. There's all those nodes and routers in that 'big long cable' to consider too.

@OP - there can be a number of things that can cause that problem such as
- a bad, or not properly updated, DNS on your ISP's end. Try Googles free DNS to see if that works.
- any one of the possibly dozens of routers between you and the GW servers. In which case it usually clears up after someone repairs or re-routes it.
