Closed: an odd shield +10 vs demons

HI, I came across an odd little single mod non max shield that I have a hard time merching. here are the stats:

Ornate Buckler (gold)
Armor 11: requires 8 tactics
armor +10 vs. Demons

Is this sellable or merchfood? (the whopping 56 gold that it is worth)

Any advice is highly appreciated!

Well, generally single mod shields sells anyway for some ectos when that mod is +10 vs demons (depending on skin).

Q8 could make higher price...but isn't max armor, so that kills it. Also not-so-great-skin doesn't help....

So IMO is merch/low price, but who knows, is possible to find a buyer/collector for almost anything...

nah this is merch, it's hard selling a single mod max AL one so don't even bother with this

I tend to agree that it's merch to maybe 5-10k tops and likely pretty hard to sell.

The shiny-factor of having a gold vDemons shield instead of one of the greens wouldn't really work for this one, being non-max and single modded. And this one offers even less functionality than the available 10vDemons green shields.

The only thing it has going for it over the greens is the r8. If a player can spec points to get Tactics to 8, they'd be able to get three more ar than from holding an r9 shield without meeting the req. I'm under the impression most of the demon-fighting players don't run Warrior secondary anyway, though, so I doubt it matters much.

I don't think there is enough demand for that to make this anywhere near easy to sell.

Dont merch that shield just yet. I think Firefighter Fred (I think he is the one with the according WTB thread) is looking for those sort of things. (Non maxed/low attributes but with max mods).

Im not quite sure if he is looking for monomodded shields, but it woudl be worth a shot contacting him first. I wouldnt expect a really high price though, but he would be happy to take it up in his collection if it fits there.
