I know this will never get implemented, but just struck me as a fun idea:
My suggestion is for a /photo emote to use in the chat window. The idea is to help those who enjoy capturing screenshots of their chars around the game, which can be tricky with the char's determination to face away from the camera.
On typing /photo the char would turn to face the camera and any heroes would do the same, and position themselves according to a script into a photogenic group pose. This would make it a lot easier to grab decent screen shots.
You could even have this synchronise between players with /photo* in the way the /dance emote works.
Silly I know, so don't flame me too badly...

He's not complaining. I didn't see anywhere in his post where we was complaining. He's simply saying when you do the '/photo' emote, the characters do some sort of group pose.
It takes more effort to type /photo than it does to hit print screen... If you want to sync cheesy emotes with friends, you can always do the /emote * sync key. It seems what you want is already possible.
@HigherMinion -
I see what you are saying, but of course that is exactly what we use already to get group shots.
My point, which wasn't a complaint, was simply that after you have pressed 'x' or rotated the camera, the avatar will usually try to automatically turn round to face forward.
The second difficulty, and probably the more significant one, with groups of heroes is that they will form a cluster which usually obscures your char.
With careful fiddling, both of these difficulties can be overcome - but it is fiddly and very often the char and heroes will move just as you had things set up. My suggestion would simply have made this easier.
I agree this is trivial in the grand scheme of things, and so late in the life cycle of GW will never be implemented - but it would be a small attention to detail which would make me smile were I to find it in a game. Group shots of in-game adventures may seem cheesy to you - and if I'm honest, they probably are a little. But, I certainly have fond memories of particular missions and quests with my sons and my friends, and as a long-time amateur photographer it was natural for me to turn my attention to this aspect of the virtual world as well.

You might also argue that /dance and all /emotes add no value to the game, so it would only waste Anet's time to implement those features.
OH WAIT ! ! !
Right! Anet seems to think those emotes add value to the game!
This /photo emote actually seems quite nice. Some of us spoil our characters a little too much :-)
