Say what?

You compare a q9 os Chaos to a cheap arse ToPK green?

While Chaos is way over farmed, and prices are nothing the astronomical highs they once were, I have seen half a dozen people with "wtb" ranging from 40-65k over the last few weeks.

I would not buy one, I think they are ugly as sin, but there is a market out there, and with patience you can sell for the above without fuss.

Victor's Axe: I gave me last ones to nabs in Ascalon, no one wants greens these days (with a few expceptions).

EDIT Spiteful:

Welcome back to the game my friend.

Yes, you are forgiven.

In your time, greens from places like ToPK and Sorrow's fetched hefty prices, these days with most people finishing up titles and with cash to spare, greens are generally speaking unwanted or hero material. There are a few exceptions of course.

The prices of many things you were familiar with have changed much, for example q9 Elemental Swords once sold for quite a bit, now you cannot get rid of them for even 5k without a struggle.

So, in your time there may well have been periods when the two axes fetched comparable figures, no longer however.

Again, welcome back.

EDIT redux:

Actually guys wanting to buy q9 Chaos lately for prices I mentioned were for INSC weps, your being old school would fetch more to the right buyer.

~45-50k for non-inscribable 15^50 imo. Inscribable usually goes for around the same or maybe a little less, but *occasionally* you'll find someone who's looking for a caster weapon who will actually pay more for insc.
