I am looking for some advice for a newb Please help

I have an account with the following characters
1st account
el/mes - level 11
mo/wa - level 14
Ran/war - level 7
war/mo - level 20

only the warrior on this is acsended and full map is cleared

My brother gave me his account with the following
2nd account
Ran/Ele = level 20
Ele/nec = level 20,,, I would like to change to ele/mes,, is this a good idea ?
mo/mes = level 20
Wa/ele = level 20
( this 2nd account has full map cleard for all characters but not all quest are complete )

I have two questions. how do the characters on the first account compare to the 2nd account. Also should I forget about the first account and just pick up on the 2nd account and continue that in preperation for chapter 2. Please help me out here I am totaly lost here of a good way to go.

Well one nice thing about having two accounts - you can have PvE characters of every class and still have room for PvP characters.

T_T Full map cleared for ALL characters? I've been playing for over 600+ hours on my Ranger and I've only JUST cleared Kryta in it's entirety, imagine how much time it would take for all four >.<

I think he means that his brother got all towns and outposts in the map not actually walked to every corner of the map to clear the fog of war.

Monk, if you have finished the game with one character, I might not call you a "newb."

But, you seem to have some sort of aversion to necromancers? The only necro profession you have is one you are asking to change.

IF you are at all interested in PvP, I would suggest deleting one of your brother's characters to make way for an open slot for PvP custom characters. He's probably unlocked a good amount of skills on his account. (Make sure you get all the good items, runes, gold, and armor off the char before deletion!)

If you're not interested in PvP, use the new slot for a necromancer. I promise you, it's fun.
