PC Q8 +5e Swords

Hello there

I'm currently collecting these swords and would like to know what each skin is worth! I had budgetted for what I thought would be adequate for at least the Canthan ones (about a year ago) but after gathering up all my money and meeting my targetted amount a few months ago, I found that their price increased.

So right now, I need to know how much more money I need to make to complete my collection! I ain't a super rich fella who spends their entire time trading but this is one of the few weapon collections that I'd actually be able to use in PvP without having to customize anything

I think I sorta know what each weapon is worth but would like some confirmation from some helpful PC'ers! I'll list what I think it is and you can correct me if I'm wrong.

So without ado...

SKINS I NEED A PC ON
1)Celestial Sword - NO IDEA
The last thread to have one of these had a c/o of 750e and I don't think it sold because the seller (Coast) posted on my buy thread asking for 750e for it. He deleted his post though. However, I saw that a q8 +5e celestial was listed on GWEstimator back in August and the guy was asking for 200e. If I'm not mistaken, that guy is/was a mod here. I honestly have no idea about the price of this one. I think I read somewhere that the Celestial/Crenelated are the most common in Q8 but I'm not entirely sure.

2)Dadao Sword - 250e
Two of these were listed recently. One had a c/o of 350e, the other 180e. Is the Dadao worth 350e+?

3)Dusk Blade 2000e+
This ones a biggy I guess since it's the rarest of the Canthan ones. I knew this was definately gonna sell into the thousands a few months ago before the shenanigans began but not sure how much it would be worth now. A quick look at GWEstimator shows that someone was looking for one for 2000e back in September. It looks like he managed to get it or maybe had one already because said person offered it to me for 750 armbraces(~17,000e)! I guess I should cross the Dusk Blade out of my list. Is 750a really what it's worth?
p.s. anyone know how many of these exist?

4)Jitte - ~800e
Am I right about what I think the jitte is worth? I saw that the last one on Coast's thread had a c/o of 800e and I'm pretty sure it didn't sell. Jitte is a pretty popular skin so it might definitely have gone up in worth. Some helpful numbers for you guys: there was one for sale in April with a c/o of 400e and a b/o of 700e.

5)Katana - NO IDEA
This one's a notorious one. Another person asked for a pc on this recently and got a lot of varying replies so I'm not so sure how much this item is worth. I'm guessing that no one is willing to sell for below 1000e though. Last one sold for 1601e and another about two months before that sold for over 100a.

6)Plagueborn Sword - 400-600e
One good thing is that there's a lot of these floating around at the moment. There were two on sale in September. One had a c/o of 200e and b/o of 400e. The other a c/o of 437e and b/o of 600e.

7)Shinobi Blade - 1000-2000e
My estimate is probably pretty low in the current situation but I saw that one was for sale in September which had a c/o of 900e. Shinobi is really rare so would have gone for 1000e+ even a year ago I think but I'm not so sure now. Handler had his with a b/o of 300a.

So yeah, would like some input for the skins listen above. That way I know how much more money I need to make to complete my collection.
Not even gonna bother with the tyrian/core ones since they're too rare. I did find a guy with q8 +5e crysta but if I could afford his price, I could definitely afford anything (even some green, super rare, super demonic, asian 1st place minis!)

-dusk blade: Seller calls price

-jitte: +-800seems about right atm, paid 650e myself back in may or so and keeps going up slightly in price

- dadao: 250e seems about right imo atm

- katana: easily 2000-3000e, same as shinobi explanation

- shinobi: easily 3000e if sellers knows prices and isn't just a random guy who quit for years and just came back

-celestial: +-400-450e

all prices are for end 2011, so they not comparable with prices back in 2006 or w/e

- plagueborn:+-400e

Instead of a price check i'd give you an advice
Don't go for any q8 5en swords right now.
Their prices are heavily inflated and it's just not worth it
They were never that rare anyway.
Just a bunch of ppl trying to hoard them
to resell for a lot more ( something which really sounds unpromising by the way)

^ Completely agree with Chaos. I know you've been looking for a while, Kiki, and I know how frustrating it is to have to wait, but there is no doubt that patience will save you tons of ecto in this case. Give it time.

That's not to say that these PC's are inaccurate, per say, but rather that the market is so RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed right now that you would be doing yourself a disservice by buying currently.

I think some people have gotten the wrong idea about this thread. If it seems like a price fixing thread, then by all means close/delete it but that was not my intention. It's more so that I know roughly how much I should offer if I ever find the items I'm looking for.

I understand that I probably shouldn't be looking for them now but right now is the best time since I'm more active. Once my holidays are over I won't be able to actively search for them.

And I'm not entirely sure that patience will save me more money. If people would sell for these high prices at the moment then I don't think their minds would change a few months down the line . . . who knows really. Price might go up!

You have to realize this thread and others like it will take heat thanks to Handler and Coast who inflated the market on these swords through hoarding and outbidding others with ridiculous prices.
