No serial number! How do I add the game to my NCsoft master account!?

I'm trying to add Guild Wars Nightfall to my NCsoft master account. I recently picked up guild wars so I can get the rewards from the Hall of Monuments in Guild Wars 2... The problem is, I bought this game a few years back, and I threw it out, because I never had a chance to play it (computer was broken for about 2 years and I was surviving on a POS laptop). Now I found the access key and gained access through NCsoft support, but now I don't have a serial number to add this game to my account and NCsoft is of no help right now. Any suggestions?

By 'account' do you mean an "NCSoft Master Account"? The serial number is proof of purchase.

Aren't you supposed to enter the access key?

It's the same access key that you used to install Nightfall. Exactly the same.

If your only concern is the HoM rewards, you do not need to put GW on an NCSoft master account. An NCSMA will not be required to link GW1 and GW2 accounts.

I don't think I had to use that when I linked mine. Was ages ago though so maybe I'm wrong. I'm sure it was just my email etc.

I recently had my account restored, and bought a second one. Just to make sure I could get the second account restored if (God forbid!) I got hacked again, and I had to go through the whole in-game store, go to checkout, then go to NcSoft site, enter the code, ouila!

I was kinda freaking out though, because I was not told about going into the store, and the NcSoft site was rejecting the right code every time I put it in.
