Is it against the rules to trade ectos or gold for Steam wintersday coal items(or any other items from other games)

I see a lot of people doing it at kama and gtob. I read the rules of conduct on official GW site and it said its against the rule to trade guild wars item for real life currency, it made no mention of non currency items, such as another game items, or items from steam gifts, etc

yes, it is against the EULA

You cant sell in game cash for real cash, nor for other game's currencies
then i could sell 100 k for lets say,50 gold on another game that allowes to sell it for real cash etc..

Not just it's against EULA, all those who sell IG stuff for real money are scammers!

Yeah, that is against the rules.

On a similar topic, what about selling something you bought from the in game store, using real world money, for in game gold? I.e, something you buy from the Guild Wars in-game store, but only to sell said item in Guild Wars for real money? Is that the same thing?

It all depends if you get caught or not, i can understand your point when you see all those people abusing the game or spamming in kamadan for weeks and not getting banned...

I would say you can if it's just a friend you know in real life( and in those case it probably doesn't matter), but other wise it's in theory against the EULA and deserves a ban( but so is match mainpulation though, that's why i said if you get caught, reported, etc...)

There is currently nothing in the ingame store you can sell/anyone would buy. You can trade the costumes.... but they are customised and can't be used by others...
So... currently there is no problem with people buying stuffs in store and selling them I believe.... if anyone did try to do that they are definitely scammers lol

I believe trading items from different games is against eula too and I for one wouldn't buy something for another game from someone in kamadan or whereever.

If you have to ask, then chances are you already know the answer.

I've seen peeps asking to trade games on Steam, not 100% sure how that would work but anyone outside my friends list on Steam is getting 0% trust.
