Quick question

i have been doing alot of FOW forest runs solo and usually within the run i can find a chest and usually get a couple golds as drops. ive noticed that every gold i identify never has an inscription or isnt inscriptable. i have been doing the runs in NM is it even possible to get inscriptable golds as drops or no?

on that note where can i farm inscriptable items or are r9 uniscribable items from FOW and UW worth anything these days?

Nightfall and EotN should have plenty of inscribable weapons to get. Prophecies have none and old school dungeons only have them in the end chest that I know of. And OS (old school) weapons are usually worth much more then inscribable versions from what little I know.

FoW and UW date back to before Inscribable weapons were added to the game, so the drops and chests have no inscription slot.
The "End Chests" for completing all the quests, were added later, so the items are inscribable. (Only NCsoft would no why they didn't or couldn't retro-fit the other items)

Oldschool (non-inscribable) weapons with a useful, max inherent mod such as 15^50, and a rare skin, can be worth a lot, especially shields with 2 max mods. (Oldschool shields don't have an inscription slot and also can't accept a handle.)

Inscribable weps are cheap junk (unless high end dungeons chest items such as BDS/Froggy etc)

Most Tyrian/Canthan skins are worth vastly more than similar insc stuff, provided q9 max with mas (and desired inherent eg 20%HCT)

Most of the things that drop in FOW are not especially valuable, even q9 15^50 Chaos isn't worth all that much these days relatively speaking (40-50k range), however to some people that is a lot of cash.

Just keep an eye on any max dmg q8 gold weapons or duo modded shields and put them in price check section before selling.
