WW 4/4 Video + Commentary

I somehow decided that I was going to make a video and upload it to youtube. Probably because I've seen some people that just don't seem to get how to do it and get kicked from the group shortly after. Or maybe somebody just hasn't even touched on the quest at all, or wants to move up from an 8/0 group to a 4/4.

The video is intentionally a bad run, they happen, maybe you loaded a second slower, or weren't paying attention and started a few seconds late. Or maybe your luck just ran out and you got trapped and didn't manage to get away.

Currently all I have is Grenth side done, Balth side is pretty easy but I'll probably throw up a video on it in a bit and edit/reply to this post with it.

Most runs are finished in under 2 minutes, less than 1:40 if everybody is playing properly. This one lasted to 2:40 after a bit of stuff happens.

Hope it helps. Thank you for checking it out.

Nice vid, I liked that you support the idea of using skill 2, it really works wonders, one of my grenth teams finished in 1:32 once. I'm sure we could have done better though.

I remember being asked often, how it was that I was always ahead in the start of the run. I tend to press R (autorun) halfway through when the screen starts to change from the loading screen to the actual map. With this I have never aggro'd the final mob going down the hill to the statue/beacon.

my tips for balthazar

- press E then spacebar it will auto target the beacon.
- dont hesitate when running (dont stop)
- if you are late and you think you cant make it past the group again dont hesitate and keep running. run along the wall/mountain and use icefort then run away when you are not snared you can mostly get away. also you can use icefort to let others pass safely. zigzag running
- use skill 2 as much as possible. if you see the other team died start running to grenth after you are done.

for grenth.

-try to keep close to each other when running. and make it so that you teleport all 4 the same time.
- warriors are preffered for grenth due to the skill get em it makes the run faster. my record was 1:29 when done with grenth. using all wars.
- if you are late and running really behind the team should not wait for you. but instead you have to pick a moment and stop running. fight with the first and second wave groupand use the boundary to tele. if you are exp there will be a gap open for you withourt any group. but still the champions can kill you. if you chose to keep running you have a 10 % chance of succes or even less.
- use skill 2 i like to use get em to recharge skill 2 faster and because it recharges when other teams kill a balthazar or beacon. this is for the warriors.

-sometimes when running to beacon someone aggro the first group all the way to beacon dont be a wussy use fort and kill them fast.

- last tip again dont be a freaking wussy when someone aggro the spawn at the beacon hold your ground dammit and kill it. seen way to many fails because some people start to run away. but if you dont have fort well then die an honorable death. and do some damage first. if you kill fast you will not be luring the second spawn also.

Couple things to note, I think the auto spacebar is an option thing, and some people may have it turned off. I've always been fast enough to spin and click in decent times.

On neither side should you stop, its just death.

The killing of a group that wont drop aggro really annoys me to, the fact that nobody will kill it. But they'll sit there for 10minutes afterwards because they didn't want to run from it either, so they'll cry about dying because your a noob. ;P

The one thing I don't like is, teleporting all at the same time. You all need to be fast and through in 40-42 seconds, warrior or not doesn't matter, but can help if you didn't start running as fast. My issue with teleporting at the same time is, you run the risk of all getting slowed by a single spell, making the whole thing slower. Yea damage might be spread out if you all hit the group at the same time but you want to be far enough away from the champions on the path before even bothering trying to kill the group.

My opinion in the paragraph above comes from me rather having 3 or even 2 at the beacon than none.

But again it all comes down to preference, you just have to find something that works for you and hope you have good synergy with your group members.

Thanks for replying and watching.
