Is it worth it to farm Snowball D. instead of doing HoM stuff?

Hello again!
I am back with a question as to whether I should farm the Snowball dominance quest for rep, money, and possible candy canes (god knows I am going to wipe a ton as I try to complete the HoM achievements).

My main goal is still the HoM achievements but the gold and rep from this quest seems REALLY good. Is the faction ability "rebel yell" a good reason to keep farming this quest for rep? (I am playing a rit and am thinking it may not help me out at all really, do casters even use adrenalin?) Is the money that good?

So is it worth it to farm this till wintersday ends? (whenever that is?) And then get on with the HoM stuff?

It is very useful in making money to buy HoM stuff or using the gift and getting party/sweet/druck points for HoM as well.

Also you can max out the Ebon Vanguard title doing this, so in a way you are working towards the HoM.

Alrighty then, thanks for the input, even though the "rebel yell" seems pointless for a rit, I'll work on that title and gain a bit O gold eh? hehe

The Ebon Vanguard rank is not worthless and quite useful as it gives you energy back, and an armor bonus against Charr......trust me in HM you will want that armor bonus. Also, getting your Vanguard rank up increases damage and duration of Vanguard only skills. One of those skills you can acquire is Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support, which when used by a Ritualist with Spawning power(increases health of summoned creatures which EVaS is one of), gives you a nice tank at the start of every combat.

SD IS for the HoM. Vanguard rank after it is maxed becomes a title and statue in HOM. Consumable titles are fed by the gifts. Even if you don't need the Alcohol, sweet and party points the gifts can be sold as well as the tonics, making getting other stuff (armor, weapons, hero armors and minis) much easier.

You should definitely farm this as much as you can. Last year I managed to max Drunkard, Party animal, Sweet tooth and Vanguard because of this event. I would never have been able to max the consumable titles without it. it also got me enough money to buy a Tormented weapon. This quest is a godsend for poor people like me who don't have the millions required to get 50 HoM points.

I got to rank 3 zaishen through snowball, it is worth doing. I went with guildies who were expecting to fail/afk. Unless they changed it you'll get some zaishen points for creme bules

He didn't mean snowball tournaments... he meant Snowball Dominance the Eye of the North quest.

@poster- Yes if you have the patience snowball dominance can be very rewarding to HoM- e.g. giving you the money to buy things for hom, Ebon Vanguard title (very useful), sweet/party/drunk points.
