Rate my 7 hero build?

Was wondering if anyone could comment on my 7 hero build here. It's basically a mesh up of Spiritway + Discordway with a WoH Monk for healing and a Panic Mesmer.

I'm curious about what people think about this team build. I'm mainly wondering because I tried using the 7 Hero Player Support build yesterday, but I actually found my team wiping more often when overpulling mobs.

I then tested the area outside Grothmar Wardowns by running straight into the 12 Charrs there, and in general my team usually won, often with no casualties. However the 7 Hero Player Support build usually died, especially if the Rangers were all spread out.

Still have yet to test out other areas. In the mean time I'm looking for feedback on my build. What are the weaknesses?

It lacks raw killing power*. Energy looks rough on the Mesmer.

*Not quite accurate, but the direct damage side of things is much lower than it could otherwise be, simply because Discord is limited.

I actually find the damage to be pretty good as long as the Spirit wall remains up. But it could be better I guess. I noticed a lot more damage numbers popping up when I was running 7 Hero Player Support.

The reason why you found it weaker than the player support if because the player support is more aoe damage based. It works best with effective balling, not simply running into a group of charr. Also, I don't know if you used your AP bar with the player support. Because there is not single focused damage, it makes the typical discord-fueled AP almost worthless.

While I'm sure it works for you, it looks as though you have too much heal/prot and not enough damage. Discord is pretty sub-par imo.

I would make the 1st discord either PoD resto or IV resto depending on area. Get rid of the second discord for some other damage, I'd be tempted to say a mes. Make the monk a smite for more damage and also if you do insist on using it to heal then don't use WoH as its well documented that heroes don't use it well at all.

For all areas on my monk I use:
Me-Roj smite with a few PvE skills.
PoD/IV resto nec.
AoTL prot.
Panic mes.
Ineptitude/Shared Burden mes.
Esurge.
SoS Resto rit.
RoJ smite hero Monk with some command para skills (sometimes this is replaced by my 2nd acc and so it leeches).

Very little damage output,too much defense. Soul Reaping to me is very low considering the energy those bars will spend.
