For stuff like Superior Rune of Vigor, traders or players?

Should I bother PC'ing it and trying to buy it off a player, or should I just go to the rune trader? Initially I was just going to buy it off the trader, but then I heard that traders were a rip off. Is that true?

The price you get from players is between the sell and buy price from the trader, so you'd get it cheaper from a player.

I'd say that it's a tradeoff between timeinvestment and how much smaller your pocketbook gets.

I think it depends on the trader's price... buying runes/insignia's from other players should be cheaper then trader (otherwise nobody buys from other players). The average player-to-player price should be somewhere between the trader's buy and sell price...

However, most superior runes are not that expensive, so it is kind of waste of time trying to find a seller for your desired runes to save a few gold...
But runes like superior vigor are 20-25k (i dont know exact current price), so you often can save a few platinum by buying them from other players (but it often takes some time before you find a seller... you have to decide for yourself if it worth the wait).

Okay, I think I'll try to find a seller and if I can't find one, then I'll just buy one off a trader.

EDIT: Should I try these forums first, or should I just go to Lion's Arch and put it up for party search?

Go to Lions arch or try Kamadan, it shouldent be that hard to sell.

Try kamadan first, it's the biggest trading city.

Tbh i think ive only 1 chr with a sup vigor - the rest have the +41 version , 9 extra hp ive managed to cope without for last 5 yrs.
Also my wife found out a while ago that the ele she used to do all campaigns and eotn only had a minor vigor on it lol.
Things will always be cheaper off players than npc - think of it as npcs = legit merchants and players as bootleggers who sell it cheaper.

if u can't find them fast from players then just go buy from trader.
The time won will translate in bout the same as when u would waste time trying to find such thing.

Yeah nothing so far, I'm probably just going to buy it off a trader.
