Advice on HoM

Hi guys,

I just found my old character had some birthday presents. They were purple Jora, gold King Adelburn, Mandragor and Mursaat.

I only played until level 12 back then and I just returned so I am still very new to the game.

I am not sure what to do with them. I am trying to earn 30/50 in the HoM and I haven't done any of the miniature statues so should I use them for that? Which statues would that give me?

Would it be wiser to sell them? Are you able to get the statue and then sell them?

Thanks a lot

I'd suggest selling the Jora and Adelburn(or at least the Adelburn) and use that to fuel your point collection a bit. You can find year one white minis easily for 1-5k and year 2 white minis for 5-10 without much effort. For the point that requires a gold mini, there are cheaper ones than Adelburn around(or you may be able to pick up the Celestial Dragon mini this month during the Canthan New Year).

For easy HoM points:
*3 Free points for having all of the campaigns.

*5 points - 1 (1 mini)+1(Gold mini)+1(Green mini; perhaps the black moa chick)+2(20 minis total, 16 of which you can get from year 1-2 whites.)

*0-8 points under "Fellowship" depending on how willing to farm the special dungeons for hero gear. This one is really easy and highly recommended.

* 2 points if you get a Oppressor or Destroyer weapon; 3 points if you get both. Oppressor can be farmed by quests, Destroyer will run you about 60-70k.

*1 point for any prestige armor -- EoTN ones being the cheapest. However, you could get Kurzick or Luxon armor for 2 points.

*2 points for completing any campaign, even if you didn't get the bonuses. Finish Proph/Factions/Nightfall and get the bonuses for the missions on two of them and you'll score another 3 points. (Alternatively, complete the three campaigns then get two other max titles, or complete one of the elite dungeons like FoW/Underworld.)

Edit: Ah man, I'm stupid. Just realized there was a HoM Guide on this section of the forums.

Edit 2: If you use mini pets in your hall, they will become "dedicated"(and thus can't be used in anyone else's hall) -- thus drastically reducing their value.

Oh thank you I almost used them.

Does anyone know the price of Jora and King?

I looked on the sticky and it said Jora for 15-20e but in the auctions I see them for 30k buyout.

I'm guessing you were looking at the price for the Jora Everlasting Tonic. That's one of the 6th year birthday presents - they're all everlasting tonics. If yours is the minipet, the prices in the sticky guide seem to be pretty accurate.

You can also use http://argos-soft.net/GwEstimator/ for price checking... it "records" the trade channel in Kamadan district 1, which allows you to see what items have been selling for in the last month or so.

Oh so are there different Joras? Mine is the birthday present miniature one.

edit: I think I understand now. Mine doesn't say 'el tonic'
