Survivor Title question

Hello all! I've recently been leveling up an assassin (My first character past level 10) but i died once due to not noticing the henchmen i was able to take out questing with me.

My question is this, is it still possible to gain "Experience" towards the survivor title even when you're at 20? Or do you need to get straight from 1 to 20 without dying at all?

Meaning if i were to go for this title, can i no longer get it on my assassin, and i'd need to create another character and try not to die on them?

This used to be the case, to get survivor on a character you had, not only to reach level 20 without dying (this would get you the first rank of the title) but to get roughly 1,400,000 xp (I think) without dying!!!

However, it was recently changed so you only need to obtain the experience starting from your LAST death.

ie: I could die 1000 times and then not die for 1,400,000 experience and I would get the title.

Yeah i noticed that, but i didn't quite understand it, does this mean i continue to gain experience at level 20, but it goes nowhere just for the sole purpose of getting this title?

Correct. Level gain caps at 20. But you continue to gain experience points via quests/missions or kills for the sake of Survivor, skill points, and (should you need it) death penalty removal.

The best way to get survivor on an assassin is surely Vaettir farm.
Survivor has become extremely easy these days. You can die thousand times, get proper gear and skills and then start working on survivor.

All you need to get Legendary Survivor is 1,337,500XP without dying. It doesn't depend on level.
However, before the update you gained rank 1 for 140,600XP which is the same amount needed for 20lvl.

Every 15,000 xp you will get a skill point as well.
Though they aren't really useful after you got a bunch of them.

That's my assumption. "500" ("soo") is more "leet" than just "000" -- and 5,001,337 deathless exp would be sadistic.
