Question about lucky title

Hey there all, I got a question about this title.

I got Unlucky (2) title some days before and dedicated it to the HoM, and want to do the same with Lucky (2) title.

The problem is, I only got 20'8K / 100 K and my retention rate is 20 - 25 %... so it's hard to me to get lucky points.

Can you advice me about the best place to chest run, or any trick to get extra lucky points in the New Canthan Year event coming the next week? It would be really appreciated.

Thanks and farewell!

If you purely want lucky points, you should chest run in NM. Depending on whether or not you want to combine this with your treasure hunter or not, you could pick an area. Since it's double weekend now, this would be the equivalent of having 159 retains. You stated you have about 25% retain, so this would mean you would have to open about 633 chests. At 20% retain about 795.

If you're running in NM and don't care about Treasure hunter, I'd recommend running Pongmei Valley, because it gives a slightly higher retain rate, because it's canthan chests. It's an incredibly easy run, it yields anywhere between 3-5chests in usually around 3:30-4:00 minutes.

If you want to combine it with treasure hunter, I'd advise running Silent Surf (again, if you want lucky, this should be in NM), which gives Luxon chests, that give 1 point per chest towards treasure hunter (higher treasure hunter will increase your retain rate). It's also a very easy run, and it yields anywhere from 3-5 chests per 3:00-3:30 minutes. If you have WoC completed (cleansing silent surf), it will almost always give 4-5 chests because certain spawns disappear. Though, if you're new to chest running, not having it completed could be advantageous because it spawns afflicted mobs, which fight with everything else in the map, making getting some chests a lot easier, because mobs will be fighting each other, instead of you.

The routes can be found in the Chest runner's thread posted above me. If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

People have given you good chest-running advice so far. Your other option is Nine Rings. No real trick. When the Boardwalk in Shing Jea opens, buy a bunch of tickets (you can sell them back to merchants at cost, so don't worry about buying more than you need). Since you're only interested in Luck, stand in the center ring. Replenish tickets as needed.

Chestrunner's thread would be a good start. :) Be sure to visit our section on farming. The Lucky/Unlucky page on wiki is another good place to look for information. Good luck!
