so im trying to follow some class guides but the skills listed on the wikia, I cant seem to find them in game. Like for example for this mesmer hero guide http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:Me/any_Panic_Hero it tells me to get skills like panic, mistrust, unnatural signet etc for my hero (Gwen) but I cant find any of those skills from Pikin (hero skills) NPC at Kamadan. And that goes for my own skills. Most of the ones I see, i cant seem to find from the skills NPC.

What am I doing wrong? @_@ its so confusing lol.

If you click the skills, it will open a new wiki page which will detail who offers the skills. If you have unlocked the skills previously on another character, you can use them on any of your heroes. Panic is an elite you will have to capture to use, so it won't be available at a skill trainer.

The skills you list are not available from Pikin, which explains why you are not finding them there.

First of all DO NOT follow any wiki that has "Wikia" in its URL. Long story short, both GuildWiki and PvX moved away from Wikia, but the pages remained and are vulnerable to vandalism and inaccuracy.

The actual PvX is here: http://www.gwpvx.com/
The actual GuildWiki is here: http://www.guildwiki.org/

Secondly, as Da Kenster said, you can follow the links to the skills to find out where to acquire them. If you have unlocked a skill (via Balthazar faction, with another character, etc.), that skill will be available for your character to purchase from any skill trainer in that skill's campaign. However, if the skill is not unlocked on your account, you'll have to go to the specific skill trainer that offers it.

Keep in mind that PvX is not really a "class guide". They specialize in optimal builds for players that have finished all of the campaigns, are thoroughly familiar with the game, and have all skills available to them. They are catering to players doing hard-mode content, elite areas, etc.

If you're playing through for the first time, DON'T let PvX dictate your gameplay. New players who get diverted into a primary goal of filling out a PvX build are setting themselves up for frustration and disappointment. PvX builds do not magically make a player godly. The players who use them need to understand how and why they work to use them properly, not regard them as some kind of magic "I win" button. A new player needs to stay focused on the learning curve the developers put into the game, which gives them the knowledge and experience needed to understand build making.
